Hey I've got a plan; why don't I just email a "%$#% you" and then report them to my CC company as a fraud and block them from billing. How about that?

This just blows my mind. The response to this incident makes me think of a guy who is continuously beaten down by and scared of life, abused by his boss, neighbors, strangers, etc., and then goes home to beat his 8 year old son or daughter to feel like he can still stand up for something. For years and years we have been cheated and lied to, and did nothing. All of the major companies we patronize have fleeced us for massive gain with absolutely no negative repercussions. We have been sold broken games, broken software, keys to things we already own. We have bought the same things over and over again in slightly different packaging. We have been overcharged for software and hardware alike, bled dry through micropayments, gouged by unnecessarily proprietary components and licensing schemes. In the financial sector, banks and credit card companies rake it in with abhorrent fees practices that we are too afraid and lazy to do anything about. The companies who do all of these things are bigger and stronger than ever. They will continue and we will give in as always. And now some news comes up about how some people may under certain conditions lose twenty dollars a year from now and everybody loses their mind. Why don't you save your indignation for when it's actually useful?
