Okay FF13, one of the most legendary games on PS history getting a "not so elegant" welcome.. Maybe their same old trailers are the reason. Fair enough

I don't get how it's one of "the most legendary titles in PS history!" The game is hardly innovative, the graphics are already becoming a tad dated due to the insane development time, the dialog reads like some kind of joke... literally the only reason why people are getting excited is because - oh my gosh - it's FINAL FANTASY! On the PS3? Wowzers no way! Must own GOTY lol

I don't understand how anyone can call this game legendary before it's even out.
think about how many FF games there have been. there has to be at least 20 if not more. How many have truly been legendary? 2 or 3?
I don't mean good or great because they are all pretty decent (I assume), but how many are really legendary. I'm talking quality like SotN, MGS1, GTA3, GoW, FFVII, SotC...

Does anybody know the name of the asshole in the "real" FFXIII video?
I just caught it last night and as the release date was being shown, I couldn't stop thinking about how they even found such a swarmy dickhead to host the announcement. Veronica Belmont would've been a much better announcer.

I liked his little saunter through the virtual world. The subtitles were funny too.
The original video was pretty lame. I suppose I could see myself wanting to poke fun at it too. It just comes across as insulting to the average human's intelligence.

Before Black Friday, I probably wouldn't have bothered with FF13... but since my roommate picked up a 46 inch 120hz Samsung television- EVERYTHING LOOKS AMAZING ON IT. I watched the trailer... y'know the one that was before the one with the douche and it was absolutely breathtaking.
