I agree, it certainly looks (visually) promising. I see no reason why someone wouldn't Gamefly this.

I have to admit though, I certainly hope the movie itself fairs better!

Is that covered under warranty? I hope that doesn't happen to my PS3.

my PS3 is over 2 years old...so its no longer under warranty....and I left my PS3 on pretty much the entire first year...only turning it off for updates.....so the AVERAGE person most likely wont fun into that issue until year 4 or 5.....

the FAN died?

You know thats really easy to replace right?

Just get a new one off eBay and pop it in. I build my PC rigs so I bought a PS3 with a dead laser, replaced it, and added Arctic Silver for more efficient cooling. Best $190 ever.

I would think you could find a fan fairly easily, especially from the dead 60GB units that have been parted out on eBay.

It's nothing unique, so look around and maybe find something similar?

This is exactly why I don't run Folding@Home on my PS3. I need this bitch to work until the end of the generation. I can't buy three PS3's like I did PS2's, I'd go broke (or I'd have to stop buying school books)

oh and folding at home wasn't an issue....the fan didn't even kick into overdrive then.....it came mostly from being on a game.....I hate turning a game off.....so I will just leave it on to avoid going thru all the startup and loading again....

The choice of using a sort of skinny effeminate Smurf for a main creature race turns me off.

Get smurfed Cameron.

I don't know anyone who actually owns a 3D TV. Do you have one? I totally would test it, but Ubisoft didn't send me a 3D TV in the package. :(

Over the weekend I played through as Na'vi, and now am about half-way through as RDA. The campaigns are similar, but different enough that if you like one, you'll probably enjoy the other. I really like it so far, but it's not a AAA title - not that there was ever any doubt, mind you.

I actually got to play in 3D at the Eurogamer Expo in London and it was pretty impressive, the UI especially really pops out at you and hovers in front of the gameplay.

Don't want to sound rude here, but can't we just keep our mediums separate and focused? These movie-licensed games just seem like a quick cash grab.

On a side note...does that flying vehicle look a wee bit familiar?
