Just when EA appears to be getting a grip on themselves, they do a dumbass thing like this.

@Apple: I don't deserve that title. Clearly, you are far worthier for it.
@Chris: I think they do that to everyone. I got some flak for it the other day (though they loved the VHS2Blu joke)

What the fuck has Bradwart done wrong? Sure he posts a lot, but he is on-topic most of the time. Don't you have something else to do?

Actually, if you make a preorder with your EA debit card, it's like a double preorder. Hurray! Can't wait for someone to market a debit card that can only be used to prepay other debit cards. Then I can give my money to 3 different companies before I even get anything for it!
Because consumers want nothing more than to hand out interest-free loans to EA, Gamestop, etc. in exchange for menial rewards. (Y'know, I meant that to be sarcastic, but it's kind of true.)

I swear I've seen that picture before. Do you have a deviant art account?
More on topic though, prepaid debit cards seem rather pointless. Wouldn't it be better to just give someone the cash/check or a regular old gift card?

For a second I thought Joystiq would edit out the "i" in debit, then make a hilarious update to the post saying why.

They're sort of milking the cash cow AGAIN but at least EA are doing something useful.
