God bless the boys at Criterion. I just know their goodwill rubbed off on EA and Slightly Mad.

You mean the people who gave us day/night cycles, bikes, online Stunt Run, Marked Man and Road Rage and the ability to restart on-the-fly for FREE?

This makes the NFS:S sale at D2D for $24 much more attractive.

Hmm. I may have to get this.

Well if the game is a flop and the dlc is a desperate act to produce future sales, then I'd say the people that developed the budget to include the dlc. Thats all I could really think of right now...

When you play in Microsoft's house you play by Microsoft's rules.

And the #1 rule is "We will fuck your wallet in every orifice and leave a rancid ichor behind dripping out without a single dollar to your name. And you'll just smile and nod and proclaim the 360 the best console ever made."

You may only have to wait a week. If you can't have it then, well...

No update yet at Steam though. BTW, I'm wondering as someone who's only played the demo, did they include or patch in an option to make the HUD stop moving? It makes me really nauseous, and besides that I like the game.

So, how does EA get away with this, yet they can't help Valve get their later L4D content out for free? Did Microsoft not force them to charge?

Probably because EA is a much bigger entity on the console than Valve is. They have more weight, power, and they can take all their toys and go home if Microsoft makes them cry.
