Nirvana! Smells like teen spirit! YES! Time to pretend like I'm Kurt Cobain for 3 minutes and go back to living my sad boring life.

Lithium and Come as you are are okay songs, anyone know if they have In Bloom or Lake of Fire? Too lazy to check RB store atm.

Did you just say that Lithium and Come As You Are are OKAY SONGS?!?!?!?!? You hereby cannot call yourself a Nirvana fan.

Okay well Lithium is just not to my taste. I grew up with Nirvana, and I've heard 'Come as you are' way too many times so I'm sort of tired of hearing it. Both are excellent songs in essence, I'm sure.

i was talking to shadowfax... he said "You hereby cannot call yourself a Nirvana fan." and I said "but you can considering how much of a douche you are". i wasn't talking to you at all. sorry for the confusion. all you said was that they're OKAY songs and he went rabid nirvana fan on you, so i felt like i had to say that.

Nirvana in general is awful. It's too bad Kurt killed himself before people could realize that and instead became a martyr to tons of retarded teenagers.

"In Bloom" is on the first Rock Band game. If you haven't done so already, you should buy it and then export all* songs for use in Rock Band 2.

awesome update! COD classic (already have it from the MW2 hardened edition and it's pretty cool - great for trophy whores) and RE3 and C&C are major. then an AC2 LBP costume? heck yes! and for a second, i thought that said "LBP Festivus Pack" and i was like EPIC WIN! but sadly, i was mistaken.

I was pretty disappointed with Call of duty classic ... I guess it just hasn't aged well.

Still no DLC for burn zombie burn ... for shame

COD classic is a bit outdated for sure (no sprint especially), but it runs well and has a bunch of easy trophies, so i'm satisfied. i could definitely see how it could turn a bunch of people off though.

It does run really well ... surprisingly well actually. I think that you're right and the lack of sprint is what makes it a chore. I don't care about trophies but whatever ...

I think it's nice to have a classic game like that on your dashboard. Sometimes after a long day at work any little thing can be tiring, so it's nice to be able to just jump into a shooter to take the edge off without having to get up and swap discs. It may not be MW2, but it's a fourth of the price and always available instantly.

This is just hypothetical though, I don't own classic or MW2. I'm waiting for iD to final release Quake 3 Arena on xbox live (or psn) before I get a downloadable shooter like that. Wasn't that supposed to happen years ago?

the lack of sprint helps the game IMO. the pace isn't meant to be as fast-paced as MW2. it's a lot more slow and calculated. i guess my problem is that i compared it to all the other COD games i played.

Ehh, considering the number of shooters I've played before sprint was even an option... Nevermind, Doom had a run button. Sprint is just a nicer looking run button. I agree.

Though I wouldn't buy CoD classic cause I never liked the old CoD games to begin with. I liked the first Medal of Honor, that was great .. But CoD never did it for me, aside from modern warfare.

No FFVIII? I thought for sure Sony would release it for their 15th b-day today.

I'm crying now.

Funny.

I'd like the digital copy. At this rate, I might as well add it to my Goozex queue. Not like Dark Cloud 2 is coming any time soon (I'm 33rd in line)

It'd be 9.99 on PSN-cheaper than retail. I have some credit sitting in my PSN account right now anyway.

I was hoping for some more PS1 support considering the whole 15th b-day and all that stuff. Something like FF8 or Xenogears would have convinced me to actually buy something on psn for the first time in a long time.

I had submitted this, but I guess it's not newsworthy, but it looks like Sony will be cleaning up the US PS3 Bayonetta release before its release.

So.. we'll see how that goes.

Hmm. I'm not sure that it's Sony's job, but you've got to applaud them for making sure the games on their platform look good. If only all companies did tighter quality control on their games.

unrelated, but isn't it Ezio Auditore da Firenze? that's how i remember it from the game, and both the assassin's creed wiki and wikipedia say it's that too (i trust wiki most of the time. you can usually tell what's a stupid change and what's true).

It's not Sony's job for sure, but I guess if PG and Sega can't get it done, you have to do it yourself.

Give it to Naughty Dog or something.

Yeah, flawed logic, I know.

Some places have it di Firenze, some have it da, some have it de.

I don't remember what it was in the game...

di means 'of', da means 'from'. So it's either Ezio of or from Florence. Both are acceptable I would imagine. I'm not sure which is used in the game.
