I agree, too bad they couldn't fit all three seasons onto one disc and sell it for a lot less. for now I guess I'll stick with streaming them on cbs.com

I'm downloading Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan from PSN right now, and I'll also be watching Clear and Present Danger sometime this weekend. Probably also get around to watching Independance Day and watching The Dark Knight again.

A question for the ages, that is.

From what I can gather, people don't like that I 'post too often'. I believe my opinion on a 'webcomic' doesn't help either.

Really, I don't let it get to me too badly.

Not to be an ass, buddy. I never find anything in your posts that annoys me. Never see anything that is flamey, or terribly annoying. But you post too much. You do, sorry, and at some point it does become terribly annoying.

Ok, question. I just now figured I want to watch a movie. I see they've added FarCry to the Netflix New Arrivals.

I know it's Uwe Boll and all, but is it somewhat worth watching or is it just like any other Uwe Boll piece of shit?

I think every movie ever made by Boll sucked hard.

I just got The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline on Blu Ray, both are a must own. The bonus features are amazing alone on how these movies were made.

1080p 5.1 MKVs of those are already available, WITH the Bonus features. And yes, they were worth the download.

Cheesus Crust, where do you store your download? In my opinion, having these files on disc is a great benefit as it's self stored and instant.

I prefer physical media, it's much prettier

Physical media also tends to have a much higher bitrate. I'd much rather rent or own something in amazing 1080p quality that is a physical item than download something in medium 1080p quality that also takes up many gigs of hard drive space.

You realize that saying anything good about pre-millenial Doctor Who is likely to induce ridiculous flamewars, right? (That said, Baker and Leela forever. I wish they had "The Deadly Assassin", the first Who eps I ever saw, up.)

Yay, a Doctor Who feature! Although, all of those series you mentioned weren't just added and have been up there for ages. Still, all great watches, and you have my respect for noting that Tom Baker is the best Doctor (he really is). For those that have never seen the show though, I recommend starting with the current series first. It'll help ease you into the witty madness.

And another quick mention, Star Trek: Season 1 is also on Netflix IW.

I remember reading that "The Talons of Weng Chiang" had some racist overtones in it (I've seen part of it, but I missed most of it; didn't notice any really bad racism myself, though I definitely thought it funny that the Doctor burst into a room shouting, "Ni hao ma!"). Anyway, it's certainly always good to spread Who awareness. For the record, my favorite Doctor is Pertwee (it seems to be a pattern that your first Doctor becomes your favorite). Tom Baker's hottest companion, and maybe the hottest companion ever, is the first Romana. And, a Who fan is called a "Whovian." By the way, to all Whovians: Troughton's final story, the 10-episode (!) "The War Games," released on DVD in the US recently. I remember liking that one a lot and being surprised that, though I saw the whole thing in one sitting, it didn't drag.

I have Lost season 5 coming on Bluray and already have Star Trek on bluray which looks leaps over the standard DVDs- they really did a good job at cleaning up the picture.
