A plastic, third party (Balance Board is exempt) accessory for the Wii that actually makes sense and looks like a quality product?

What is the world coming to?

You didn't think they were gonna play it with a Wiimote, did you?

Can anyone compare and contrast the Tournament Edition and Standard Edition sticks? I have the SFIV TE for 360 and absolutely love it, I'd definitely buy one again for Wii as long as it gets more fighters after this, but I'm still stuck on all those launch reports of shoddy standard sticks...

TE sticks have Sanwa parts (joystick and buttons) which are essentially the highest quality parts one can have in a joystick. The buttons / stick are far more responsive than what is used on the standard sticks. Watch any tourney and you will see roughly 60% of players using the TE sticks. Watch the final 8 in most brackets and you'd be hard pressed to find someone not using a TE stick. The only other real option is to buy a Hori stick and mod it with Sanwa parts which people also do.

The SA didn't come out until October 23rd if memory serves, so TE came first. I'm still kicking myself for getting the TE over the SA lol. If only because the SA plays PS2 games on my backward compatible PS3.

And it's not half price either. SA = $119.99, TE = $129.99

Be sure to stick a multi-cthulhu in your 360 TE so you can play TvC with it.

if this is the same one that they had the capcom fight club a couple months ago; its rather light and flimsy and of course needs to be connected to a wiimote.

That doesn't sound good, especially when a lot of people still use sitck from older consoles on today's system's, even from other systems.

Don't know how this is gonna work out, since lets face it there aren't to many fighting game on wii that actually have it set to work with a arcade stick.

I guess you could still use it for VC titles though

I could not wait so I made my own TvC stick to play the import version.

Now we just need a couple more fighting games on the Wii (Street Fighter IV, I'm looking at you).

The funny thing is that this game actually works really well on the Wiimote, thanks to Capcon great work on the button layout. But I'll get the MadCatz, need to train for Evo 2010 (maybe I can beat Daigo this year? Yeah, I guess not...)

I'm plenty happy with the current lot of fighting games I've got:

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +
The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga
Samurai Shodown Anthology

Awesome stick, this is the kind of support the Wii needs! btw this game looks so awesome, I've heard from people who have imported it's the shit! This rarely happens but I'm very jealous of Wii owners.
