What, no link to the Birthday Cake song, JC? Disappointed.

Gawd, I hated that thing. Cringed for 3 minutes straight every time it came on in the radio shuffle.

Funky Dealer is by far the best song.

Also what the hell, no Beat? No sale. Corn can get bent.

Whoops just saw the giant Beat there. So where's the link to buy these, I'll totally get a couple if they aren't absurdly priced.

Then you posted the rest. :(

I'd go for the Harrier one. Matter of fact, they're all pretty cool, if you're a JSRF fan. Man, when are they gonna make a new JSR game?...

Jet Grind Radio was the dreamcast game. Jet Set Radio Future was the sequel/remake for the xbox.

So, when is Sega going to bother making a Jet Grind Radio game for this generation?

When the Dreamcast 2 comes out, which means never, unfortunately.

Judging how Sega has successfully raped every franchise that it's made a game of this generation, I can go without them making a JSR sequel until they get their development straight. Last thing I want is for one of my favorite franchises to be made mediocre by Sega..

Yeah it was developed outside of Sega but, Sega owns that company.

@INTERNET SUPERHERO,

If by outside of sega you mean in the same building but on a different floor than AM2 and WOWOW were, then you are correct. If you meant in a different building, then you are wrong.

Smilebit, WoWoW, and all of the other named Sega studios at the time were just internal studios renamed since the only R&D division with any kind of recognition of thier designation was AM2. Smilebit was originally AM6 until they renamed them. The studio remained within the walls of Sega's corporate offices however.

If the money they get from selling these things went to bribing Sega for a new Jet Set Radio, I would go on deep, DEEP, debt after buying everything on that site. Sadly, I highly doubt it.

Really good. Controls better IMO, but the grafitti was dumbed down from doing motions to simply tagging as you passed. The effect though was to speed up the action of the game, and in that respect it's awesome. The addition of air tricks is also good too.

I imagine it's as easy to apply as walking up to the wall and pressing some sort of trigger. Although a common mistake is to try this without first obtaining some soul.

I loved that song.

Anyway, I can't remember how that bear - the one in the gallery - is involved in JSFR. Maybe I need a refresh; maybe that's a sign I should replug the Xbox and give the story mode a spin.

Jet Grind Radio (DC) > Jet Set Radio Future (Xbox)

imo...I was going to buy an Xbox just to play this "sequel", but the controls and graphics were subpar to that of the Dreamcast...it just seemed like a sloppy port.

So, no Xbox for me. :)

I think the original JSR deserves a sequel, not so much the Future version, as we were left with the questions "What the hell happened to Coin (the guy from Combo and Cube's gang)" and "What's up with the Rokkaku son that's taking over the company?" and holy fuck I cannot believe I remember this. I haven't played the original since 2001.

The world needs another Jet Set Radio game.

I'm dead serious.. I still play my Dreamcast copy, more than most of the more modern games in my collection.

WE NEED A SEQUEL, SEGA!!

And to satisfy all the fans, make it multi-platform!
