I dont think anyone is asking them to do this, especially after the highly over-hyped mess that was GTA4

remember Take-Two, games should be fun

I thought GTA4 was fun, but it felt like a step backward from San Andreas. The game world had less variety, there were no bicycles, no jetpacks, no planes, no player stats, etc. I like the idea of making GTA a platform for DLC, but I'm disappointed that they've left the PS3 community out in the cold.

2-3 years is more than enough time it's just Take2 needs to highlight their killer franchises when talking to investors.

Speaking of that doesn't Bioshock 2 come out next year and shouldn't some DLC come out for the PS3 GTAIV?

They'll probably break even next year but, come 2011 I bet we'll see some more great games.

Okay, first off, the Harry Potter movies are based on an existing plot and setting. Want to guess what it is? Not as much work has to go into creating characters and other story pieces, because they already exist. GTA games are much larger than Call of Duty games do to the open-world format. Then you have to work on all of the different side-missions, because they are plentiful. It takes a lot of time to finish all of that.

I don't think you've really thought this out.

You're the one who's narrow-minded for thinking World at War and Modern Warfare 2 were developed by the same teams. Infinity Ward had two years between Modern Warfare games. Nobody but Rockstar should be developing GTA games.

Okay, I'm just going to go ahead and post this here. I've given my opinion above, so this is strictly off-topic and I understand if I get voted into oblivion.

I've been looking around for hours to find a way to transfer my PSone games saves from my PSP to my PS3, but I can't seem to figure it out. All I want to do is finish playing Oddoworld on my TV, dammit. I've been to the forums. Does anyone here know how to do this?

If your PS3 has a MS slot, perhaps try sticking it in there and copying over the saves? I haven't used that feature (no PSP), but can you access the PSP's memory from the XMB and pull them out?

I can indeed access the memory stick on the PS3, but it says there are no save files.

I'm fairly certain it can be done.

did you go into the memory stick via a PC and then move the save file from the PSP folder to the PS3 folder?

I didn't use my computer at all. Simple connection of the PSP to the PS3 through the USB cable, then went into memory cards, PSP storage, and copied from there.

Hey sam, I'm guessing you're only 18 years old judging from the 91 in your screen name and you lack the ability to have a coherent conversation with people your age and/or older so I'm not going to say anything to offend you.

I'm going to let Wolfram Alpha do that for me...

"im talking about the fact that its a good idea for a annual gta. the DLC sells like hotcakes cause everyone wants more GTA."

So you think oversaturation is the solution? Release carbon copies for the sake of sales? You sir, are a moron.

"i dont care anyways cause all i hear online is drug dealers and dumb black people"

Ok, first of all, I don't think you really "hear" online as much as SEE online, and if you "hear" the internet its because you forgot to take your meds. Secondly, you're a moron, not just because your a coward and a racist, but because your comments make no sense. Seriously as a drug dealing black person I am offended!

GTA IV had better graphics compared to the previous one but not as much variety....no jets same set of guns.....they should make one with motion control and you can destroy buildings as well as cars!!sounds like a terrorist game but it would be awesome to fly a jet into a building online!!

I whole hardly agree. This is a beautiful series and, right now, it needs to be turned on it's ear a bit and turning it into an annual cookie cutter series would be detrimental. 2-3yrs of dev time gives plenty of time of new ideas and innovations, especially with this current gen. The idea of moral decisions in the last GTA was a great foundation for future iterations to give the game more replay value and branches to the storyline.
While I'm glad a game like Heavy Rain is coming, it is using an idea I wanted for GTA5 long before HR was announced and REALLY taking it to the next level. I just wanted GTA 5 to give at least 2 characters to play as from the beginning that are on either side of the law so u get to see the same story from 2 different angles as they cross paths and as you play, the decisions you make can either make you more of a good or bad guy, including crossing over to the other side.

I still believe that could only be a PS3 exclusive due to Blu-ray tech unless MS wisens up.

The getaway has a lot of what you're describing here. Maybe not moral decisions but you did play as a criminal and a cop who eventually crossed paths.

Also, the idea that that could only be done on a ps3 is just fanboy talk. the game sold 1 or 2 million more units on the 360 than the ps3 if i recall, so if anything, Take-two would be more inclined to go with a 360 exclusive title than the ps3 at this point.

Citizen - Nah, no fanboyism here. I was speaking more in terms of the BLU-RAY factor or did I not speak on that? You jumped to conclusions. I think a GTA in terms of what I would like to see will need all the disc space possible and that cannot currently be with a 360...unless, MAYBE, they breakup the game into multiple discs which is more costly, financially and time wise. I wouldn't think they'd want to do that on top of such an ambitious game.
You think a game like Heavy Rain can be made on the 360 using a DVD? Nah and it can also be debated about the tech, just like how the Heavy Rain dev stated he preferred the PS3's tech for a game like HR but, like I said, the tech is debatable...yet the Blu-ray disc space being larger than a DVD cannot so if a game is going to be as ambitious as having at least 2 playable characters with their own story lines that intertwine and based on your moral decisions in the game can give you multiple branches including varying endings, you're going to need more disc space than dead DVDs for such a game.

no annual title is a good thing.

But charging $20 a pop for DLC that takes place in the exact same world with different character skins, that's bad. Lost and Damned and Ballad are both good games, but they're both just shorter versions of the game that they already made.
