Hey sort of of topic, but my brother and I have both downloaded tracks on our seperate xbox live accounts, and now it will only let us play the songs that we downloading on our account.
I can't play songs that my brother downloaded and vise versa, it worked before though.
Anyone know what thats about?

Just use one account if you still live together. Transfer all the songs from one to the other and get rid of the other account. The reason for this is merely increased security.

I believe you both must be signed in unless your on the same 360.

Just make sure both profiles are signed in while you are playing and it should relieve the problem. You can both be signed in but have only one person playing and you will have access to all of the songs. But the transfer thing would also work. I have some songs I need to do that with. How do you transfer the songs to another profile anyway?

Okay, that's two packs from 21st century breakdown. That's enough, time for some stuff from other Green Day albums.

I really hope the Green Day 03 pack will not be from 21st century breakdown. Needs more Dookie.

At least until they put American Eulogy on, then I'd be fine with other albums. But if the other albums come next, that would be great.

Horrible band now, yes. Back in Dookie / Insomniac days, great band. Translates well to Rock Band I imagine too. Much better than Simon and Garfunkel will.

Have you heard Green Day's all of their singles? The guy can not change his voice worth crap, hes like the Ben Stein when he sings. Its play rotation is exactly like You're Beautful by James Blunt and anyone who remembers when that song was popular wanted to destroy whatever was playing it.

My point by the way is that if we didn't have Greenday, you wouldn't get lame little kids making video's about it either.

You are implying that we only dislike this band because it's popular. That's bullshit, at least as far as I'm concerned. I dislike Green Day because they are amateurish musicians who could never make quality music if their lives depended on it.

What did you expect from a punk rock band (well..former punk band)? You're not going to get complex guitar playing, or rob halford type vocals from a punk band.

@Lunastra

You're right, I'm sure not everyone who hates them do because of their popularity. Green Day makes stadium style Top 40's operatic pop-punk and they do it better than anyone else. I don't actively listen to them, but they write decent music. They don't quite deserve the title of 'horrible.' Just like Weezer's most recent output. Nothing special, but heads and shoulders above what other similar bands are doing. I can be quite the music snob myself, but I don't deny well written pop songs.

Saying they're better than any other band of their type is saying much. That whole genre needs to die, and shouldn't have even been created. Lazy music is not music.

i dislike green day because they have become this corporate suit controlled music. Its like they are following the same shitty structure they built for My Chemical Romance, both which were my favorite bands at one point.

They're what.. on their 11th album now?

Gotta give them credit for knowing how to change their sound and stay relevant. Even if they do cater more to the tween, teen crowd more than ever, they still can make some nice surprises. But if you don't like Time of your Life or September Ends, you are probably an ASSHOLE who is just a hater. Eyeliner aside, be thankful it isn't NICKLEBACK.

Green day's first album was good and the next few were ok. They were never more than an average poppy punk band. They've always relied on being catchy the only thing that changed is now they appear more mainstream and corporate than before.
Also The Offspring are great! If you're going for great skate punk sound though look no further than NOFX early albums:D

@tmac
Being talented does always make you a good song writer, some of the most complex riffs I've heard have been nothing but boring and a guitarist showing off.

@Svenhoek86

I don't think anyone here is arguing that Green Day is better than the Beatles. That would just be silly.

Personally I would like to play some of the older Green Day, I actually really enjoy them all the way up to the American Idiot album. The International Superhits collection would be good. I have no desire to pick up these packs from the new album.

ya, if you want the entire album. Personally I just opt for singles, entire album downloads kind of clog up the song selection menu. (We sort by artist). With the exception of Rush. Every Rush album should be made available.
