"2010 will be the eleventh year of the 21st century, thus a new decade."
That's the stupidest thing I've heard from you, this week.

My apologies. It would seem I am wrong. I was under the impression there was a year "0." Apparently not. Oh well. I surrender.

Penny Arcade, actually. These ideas are universal to anyone who's played a multiplayer FPS at all.

I get the Virtual Shackles comic, but he's giving Assassin's Creed waaaaaaaay too much credit. I found the gameplay to be a lot clumsier than I expected, and it's *because* the computer tries to do everything for you... and fails a quarter of the time. Having said that, it could very well be an improvement over Mirror's Edge, but that's not a flattering reflection on that game.

You know what has great wall jumps? Shadow Complex. You always feel like you're in control, but the lead character is able to stick to walls for a little while before sliding down them, giving the player a lot of leeway. It's the best triangle jump in a 3D video game, no doubt about it.

Wow, these were... all pretty good this week. I'm surprised.

If I had to pick one, I'd probably go with Brawl in the Family. Something about the artwork and narrative style always makes me smile a bit.
Though I couldn't bring myself to exclude the others, so I just didn't vote this time around.

PA's was one of the two that made me laugh and since I laughed more I gave it my vote. Probably because of how blunt it was

The 'Thank You' one came a very close second though.

Keep up the good work Victor.

I like PA, VS, and resident new guy It's-A-Me.

...So, did Penny-Arcade just reference the Witchblade series, or was that a coincidence? That's gonna drive me nuts. (That show was as depressing as it was sexy.)

You are aware that the TV show is based on a comic book right? It's related to The Darkness. Just checking

Dipswitch guys:
I know you like to read through here sometimes so I'll comment for you.
Somehow, you're comic looks like it was drawn better this week, which is good.

One thing I want to add though, it feels like it needs *something*. I'm thinking shading, but you might find that too cheap. Shading does add depth though because currently, it looks a bit flat. But when its usually the same characters against similar backgrounds, if you put in the time it could be good for reuse (if you do that).

Just something I felt like adding for some reason.

Hey, yeah.

Well thanks for that. Actually the non-shading thing is a stylistic choice for most of the comics. I wanted to get the characters and pallettes down, so that the characters are a permanent design, and look like 'themselves' no matter where I'm drawing them.

Monday's comic has some shading, now that I've sort of cemented a style that's between 'Danny Phantom' and 'Family Guy/The Cleveland Show'/American Dad'. There's something about simplicity in those types of shows that really captures my attention.

Thanks again for the compliment, and congrats to Its-A-Me. Keep your chin up man, because seeing people getting hit in the chin is hilarious! :P

Best Comic of the Decade?

My best comic of the decade was for SModcast (by Kevin Smith)

Anyway, thanks for all the votes folks, have a good week.

Brawl in the Family's second page of this story (not the one linked) was kinda sorta amazing with the mushroom kingdom's interpretation of the moment of death.

BiTF's comic has a lot of comic potential in it. If they were to pull it off correctly, they could have another Turnabout Kirby on their hands.

BITF more got a vote by proxy. Part 1 wasn't amazing (but it was only an introduction to the premise) but part 2 was amazing so I considered them together. Looking forward to this running saga for the next few weeks.

If It's-A-Me is on that list there is pretty much no reason why Assfuck Jamboree shouldn't be.

Sometimes, a 'zero' is referred to as a aught. So it's aught one, aught two, and so on.
