Well, it seems like they've tried to bring the Engineer more in line with the Soldier class. Still, I'll probably stick with standard Soldier Shepard.

Chris is correct. I'm usually in sweatpants most of the time until the world needs saving.

Well in Britain pants are underwear whilst we call pants jeans or trousers.

Here in sunny Liverpool we use the word pants to mean trousers, unlike most of the UK. Leads to unfortunate blunders when talking to students from around the country. Crazy scouse times!

I'm actually liking the way the Adept looks in this game more than anything else so far, with the new vanguard right behind it. In the first game the only really good classes was soldier or vanguard, specially on higher difficulties but it really looks like they've balanced them a lot more now.

Can't wait. I think I'm going to have to freeze myself with the Cyro Blast until the game comes out.

I appreciate the changes they've made to Engineer.
In ME1, Engineer just felt like an Adept with explosive skills. The "tech grenades" barely looked like grenades at all. You had hacking, which was all right, and you had Medicine skills which were barely useful. To this day, Master Neural Shock doesn't work correctly (it doesn't stun longer than Advanced Shock).
Here, they've made Engineer stand out by decreasing emphasis on magic-like tech nades and instead giving you a drone, better hacking, and ammo mods that allow more consistent elemental effects. Well done, Bioware.

That's so soon, good thing I'm replaying it at the moment to have a save ready.
Does anyone know if I can use my save in Mass Effect 2 to carry over my choices but not use the characters face... because damn is he ugly. I just want to stick with default Shep.

I need to go ahead and finish my play thru on 360....I played it the first time on PC and then bought it on 360 via Games on Demand.....
as for the save carrying over for his face I'm not sure....I kept the default Shepard and just made him a bit darker

Yeah I've already finished it twice on PC, but I've since reformatted it with Windows 7 to afterwards learn that the saves are kept in Documents instead of the install directory on my games hard drive...
I loves me some Bioware for doing a simultaneous launch on this one.

I always go for 1980 myself.
I just wish all age gates would stop with the Year/Month/Day shit, if you're not buying me something for my fucking birthday just ask for an age or year.
Or hell, stop with it altogether because it's pointless.

You'll go back for the story.
Baldur's Gate 2 was an improvement over the original in pretty much every way but that never stopped me from replaying the first.
You now realise this is the first time Bioware has developed a sequel to their own game since BG 2.

its unlimited "clips" but not unlimited ammo per clip. the way they explain it in game is that the guns use disposable heat sinks that can only absorb the heat of x number of shots, as appose to ME1 where there was one heat sink that had to cool down before more shots could be fired. Really just a game play switch that they had to make up a reason for in game.
