I'm afraid Yakuza 3 is the closest to a new Shenmue we'll ever get.

The credits for Assassin's Creed 2 had credits for Russian and other voice actors, but they weren't in my US version. Most anime have Japanese voice credits in the dubbed versions, but frequently don't credit the English actors. I wonder if they get royalties on games and shows that they don't actually perform in?

oh man, I imported this while I was doing Japanese classes, naively believing that I'd improve my skills in the language while playing the game... fail. And now that they're gonna localise it, does ANYONE know if there's gonna be an English subtitle patch for the Japanese version?! Please!!

oh hell yeah! this made my day! (after some current-going PC problems that i'm still working on that has me angry) this is super news!
tho i remember earlier this year Sega saying that they will never bring it to the US. glad they finally pulled their heads out of their asses to take a little risk. just hope they dont underproduce like the second game. (that game was SOOO hard to find when it came out! and I even pre-ordered it and the store i ordered it at wasnt getting any so i had to go to another store! what kind of crap is that? Sega: Send more than 5 copies to a city please! lol)

Well, that's one teeny tiny step closer to a Kenzan! release.

Fingers are crossed!

Don't try to master riposte as a beginner, b/c it assumes you know how to read enemy attack patterns really well (which you probably don't). Besides, way too risky at times and have to go back to the beginning of the level.

Ok, i'll support it at launch, i guess i can skip that lunch in a fancy restaurant in march.

I didn't get much into the first Yakuza though, but i loved the hell out of the japanese demo for this one. The only thing i've missed was 2 player co-op and it would be the modern Final Fight i always dreamed of.

I think that its too late to release this game here in the states, they should of released it sooner in a strategic date and not next year where its booked with triple A titles and most anticipated games.
