I need to see this bear in motion. If he moves like Teddy in AI, I'll buy it day one.

Same here. There's something truly intriguing by that model. I can picture him moving and acting in a game, but I'd love some more screenshots.

"The goal in Naughty Bear is to scare, irritate, and, of course, hurt the other bears, racking up "Naughty Points" as you do and using weapons strewn about the game's 30 stages. The game will dole out more Naughty Points in response to more "deviant and maniacal" tactics. From the description, it sounds like Manhunt with teddy bears. It's going to be a polyester stuffing-bath."

I swear, I've heard this plot in a Yogi the Bear game.

That bear has some demons. Those cold eyes. Maybe he'll be the main nemesis of Dexter in the next season of that show. Jimmy Smits, John Lithgow, and now, evil bear.

For some reason, this is making me think of old Paddingtion Bear videos, but with more violence. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

hopefully they learn from Fairytale Fights about what not to do...i hope they don't expect the game to make itself based on the concept of having something cute and cuddly use weapons.

Looks like Joystiq is going through a transformation. It's not just the search bar that's changed, although everything below the header is still the same.

So is this a Conker for the new generation?

Also...where're the platformers on the current-gen systems. I know we had Rachet and Clank and maybe a Crash Bandicoot (how the mighty have fallen), but what else?

The obvious LittleBigPlanet. Kameo was fantastic despite its atrocious controls. Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is one of my favorite games of this gen, and is still definitely a platformer despite the focus of the game brought to vehicles. 'Splosion Man and N+ on XBLA too. Prince of Persia and Mirror's Edge can fall into the category, both amazing games.

Super Mario Galaxy on Wii is arguably the best of the bunch despite the plodding story you have to sit through, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii is easilly the most fun game I've played all year. That's all I've got...

There's a ton of great platformers, they're just out of the glaring spotlight of FPS madness that seems to have taken over the industry.

Just on the Wii, there's A Boy and His Blob, Klonoa, NSMBWii, MegaMan 9, De Blob, Wario Land Shake It, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Lost Winds, Cave Story, even the Subspace Emissary in SSBB could be considered a platformer.

I've got a feeling there's plenty more, but enough lists. :)

These ultra-violent games with 'cute' settings (Fairytale Fights I'm looking at you) don't really appeal to me.

It's kinda like putting an eyeball in your ice cream.

Sure, it may be funny, but in the end it's disgusting to eat, and ruins perfectly good ice cream.

...Unless you enjoy eating eyeballs and ice cream.

I've seen a trailer for this game when they were shopping it around, and it's like GTA/Conkers, but with bears. It actually looked pretty hilarious. Bears shooting people, cutting heads, and swearing.
