actually, i hear they put out a novelization of this game prior to the comic book. it's kinda hard to read. pretty good i guess, but it makes Dante, who is obviously a badass, sound like kind of a wimp. weird marketing, EA.

Ah I love the Divine Comedy... I have read it three times. Beautiful work of classic poetry, and very complex. I am fairly excited for this one - the visuals, at least, look fun and spooky - though it will surely be nothing like the source material, AT ALL.
But who gives a F^_^ck? It's a video game! I'm pretty sure if they made "Moby Dick" into a game that had you breathing underwater while swimming at speeds close to the speed of light and fighting fish demons with a giant harpoon, I'd play it, and think it was AWESOME.

Im reading the divine comedy now,its amazing im so looking forward to this game i love the whole concept and im glad the comic looks much darker than that anime thats being released.Cant remember his name but someone said because of the source material it shouldnt be dark???have you even read the book?a lot of its discriptions are disturbing to say the least,well bring on Dante's Inferno!
