Nintendo Power reveals Mega Man 10 for WiiWare

Capcom better add passwords to this part. If there was something I missed from Mega Man 9, despite being a wonderful game, is the option for passwords. Besides, they would be a perfect thing for cheats, especially the über simple ones, like the Red A6 cheat from MM3.

I don't know how to feel about that Dragon robot with the gun-nipples, though.

I really wish they would take the series back to the ps1 style graphics not everyone grew up with the nes style games. And on another note if this sales well I hope this encourages capcom to make a new megaman x game along with megaman legends 3 that is all.

Though I'm not sold on that 2.5D look, co-op would be awesome.

I love how they're embracing the totally batshit art of the early NES games.

I'm not saying I won't buy it because I probably will, but this is not the path I wanted MegaMan to take. It was nice as a 1-time nostalgia but when are we going to get a full-blown sequel with modern graphics?

8-bit Mega Man titles? Selling well enough to make sequels? HOW LONG HAVE WE TOLD YOU TO DO THIS WITH MEGA MAN, CAPCOM!? HOW LONG!?!?

My birthday is tomorrow and this is like the best present ever.

I consider Mega Man my favorite game franchise of all time so this.... this is awesome.

I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but I think they should've made a hand-drawn disc based sequel. The 8-bit was fine for 9, but think about it, there's 8 8-bit megaman games now,. I'd like to see them move on. And call me crazy, but I LIKED megaman 8 even though it was 32-bit. I own all 6 NES games, plus a couple of the gameboy games and when I played 9 it just felt like more of the same with nothing new to offer. So I know every fanboy on earth is gonna have a deathwish for me now, but I just feel cheated.

It could just be the art, but Protoman looks an awful lot like Zero.

Mega man X is a a totally different mega man character and totally different time and space you noobs.

The mega man X games was not even supposed to be a spin off series staring Zero then they changed there minds and made him the side kick.

The title does not mean mega man 10. It was the name of the fucking new mega man. Unless there is time travel involved in the story Mega man and mega man X characters will never mix.

Hey sega, stop with your original ideas and just copy off capcom. Make a sonic game like this please.

I hope the third playable character is an 8-bit Viewtiful Joe, but I know that isn't likely. It's probably either Roll or Bass.

I read these sites often but never comment, I just wanted to say that I'm a Megaman Fan from megaman 7 and up(I almost beat 9 but lost my save state, I mean cartridge) I don't see the awesome nostalgic here with the original Megaman, he felt so weak and small (to me) he's not my favorite Blue bomber that I discovered in Megaman X- X6, I know there is a lot of lame inside of the X series but the first 3 are my favorites with fun and fast gameplay. Sure they are not as hard as the original series(X6 could give a run for the money to me) but I felt he was the cool Robot I saw in the TV series that took opponents attacks and was like unstoppable.
I'm also writing because even though the Megaman Maverick Hunter X bombed , I really enjoyed it, with updated smooth graphics and new hard mode (playing with Vile seemed too hard though, at first though)
I've just been a Megaman Fan for a long time, and I guess I feel there is no bad megaman game ..... well I dunno how you feel about Megaman legends(I played that one too... well pretty much all of them but that's another story).

MAIN POINT: Megaman always symbolized to me about getting better faster stronger(NOT THE SONG), GOING BACKWARDS IN GRAPHICS DOES NOT FEEL LIKE MEGAMAN. I'm used to MEGAman not megaman. I feel some are using personal attachment that they had when they first discovered megaman in 8 bit to make judgement. EX. if you love your 1970 Mustang that you had when your a teen chances are you'll prefer it to a new one despite the many upgrades(that make sense) new ones have.
I guess I feel some aren't judging fairly and are using personal feelings that they grew up with. I hope I'm wrong but I had to say it, I'm sure someone will flame me the ones are personally attached but I don't really plan to come back here to check so you can pretend I don't even exist. It won't bother me.

I thought the idea for a retro megaman 9 was awesome! But to have 10 also done in this style is disapointing. I hope they make a 2D Mega Man in HD one day (With real hand drawn 2d graphics not 3d graphics).

I hope this game is not as difficult as 9, I loved all mega man titles except part 1 which didn't have a save feature, part 2 kicked a** and so did 3 and 4 and 5, and 6 :-), but now that i'm older and have responsibility, i'd like to be able to select difficulty and for the game to be as exciting as classic mega man titles.
