Seasons 1 and 2 also were off-planet. 1 went to the Moon and 2 had a time travelling space ship.

This will be a season purchase for me.

This is "stellar" news. The world needs as much Sam & Max as it can get, IMO.

Someone should make a Sam & Max vs. Mr. Peabody & Sherman game.

I wish they wouldn't change the controls and just stick with point and click. I liked the Wallace and Gromit series but the control scheme was awful.

Kind of agree, I think Tales of Monkey Island's control is the best compromise. Cursor for movement caused some annoying parts in Sam and Max where the camera would pan a little while I tried to click an object and it made Sam wander all the way across the screen.

I didn't like the ability to highlight every usable object in Wallace and Gromit.

Reminds me that I should probably do another attempt at fixing that Direct3d issue that is stopping me from running the first two seasons.

When are Telltale going to start working on the PlayStation 3/PSN editions of all their recent successes?

Cursor-less controls, oh fuck no. Why would I want more control? Has it suddenly become twitch based or micro-managed and I'm going to gain immense rewards through the used of fast reflexes or leet hotkey combinations?

For consoles, okay, I can see why curso-less might be good. But if they think I'm going back to the keyboard on my PC like I was forced to in Escape From Monkey Island... well I'm not going to be buying this one, that's for sure. Hell, even the awesome Grim Fandango experience was lessened because of keyboard control.

It's an adventure game. I'm there to solve puzzles and get me some story; I'm not there to endlessly be hitting keys.

Just give us a classic control option and stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

That looks like an alien rocket launcher with Max's face on it in the gallery. They could be veering very far from point-and-click adventure.
