I feel bad for the people who are forced to make all of this shit. I doubt this is what they paid all that money to go to college for.

It may not be glamorous work, but it's a good foot in the door and it pays.

Here's hoping they get a chance to prove themselves worthy soon enough though.

The scariest thing is: What if this IS what they dreamed of making???

..... actually, I'm more curious if it's actually a fun game. All other complaints disappear if it's fun.

I would like to see a new Mario Tennis game with motion plus, too. Also, a new motion plus Mario Golf would be nice. Might as well put them on same disc at a reduced price since we're dreaming, haha.

So, Ubisoft is tricking people into spending $30 plus for five variations of the same fucking sport?

Wow..."imagine" that!

Isn't that like calling all first person shooters the same game? Run, point gun at enemy, pull trigger, repeat.

Five variations on racket based games doesn't sound too bad. And Motion Plus use is a good thing.

Five variations is a step backward. Video Olympics for the Atari VCS had 50 variations of Pong. What's Ubisoft's next game, Spacewar with only one ship?

But sadly, it really well and truly sells...just like every Wii Sports and Wii Play imitator out there.

That is, at least if they keep up the shovelware at this rate.

Who's buying these "sports minigames" collections?

We know hardcore gamers don't.

But if you're a casual gamer and you have a Wii, you probably already have Wii Sports, and casuals apparently don't buy many games.

Does this shit really sell to anyone?

Ubi, please just get Red Steel 2 and No More Heroes 2 out and then take all this money your funneling into these games and actually put it to work. Kill all of your Imagine, Babyz, Petz, etcz. crap and actually attempt to make a good game for us. Quality goes a long way when it comes to selling stuff. Marketing is another point, so use a bit more of that money and make sure everyone knows of the game.

Um, if Ubisoft killed all their Imagine, Petz, tennis games etc then the next Prince of Persia would probably have to have stickman graphics, because Ubi's profits would be in the toilet.

Yeah really, I sold my NES as soon as Silver Surfer was released...good riddance. There were just so many terrible games on that system.

I had to pawn my 360 when Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust came out, too.

Didn't EA just lay off a bunch of people because their casual games did not sell as expected? I don't think Ubisoft took the hint.

I understand where your going there...well played.

However, I have found the Wii to have just too much junk on it, horrible 3rd party games, a VC that's been on a soft leak since launch day, lackluster firmware updates, horrible multiplayer options and ways to connect, and more shovelware then a horse shit scooper could ever hope to achieve.

I love Nintendo, and will always be a fan, but they lost me on the Wii. It feels more like a social experiment, then a console, and this generation they simply disappointed me. I hate that I won't be able to play Mario kart...but, that's the only regret I have.

Hopefully next gen, they get their act together.

I understand where you're coming from about the Wii - there's nothing wrong with your opinion, but your reasoning is still bollocks. Sorry.

The problem with the Wii is not too much shovelware; they could double shovelware releases and it wouldn't matter one bit. The problem is not enough good games.

Personally I don't need to play that many games so I'm fine with it, but for people who want more game, Wii is not a good 'only console'; buy one of the others and keep your Wii around for the occasional quality games, like various Nintendo releases (this year Sports Resort was good, for instance, and a lot of people really rate NSMB) plus the odd quality third-party game (recently, the new Silent Hill looks great and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles was also good).

And of course if you're short of cash or wanting to declutter and you know you're not enough of a fanatic that you MUST HAVE the next Zelda or Mario Galaxy, then selling it might well make sense for you.

So like I said, I understand where you're coming from, but the reason is definitely not shovelware. Imagine - and this is going to be a stretch worse than Ubi's games, but bear with me - that Wii had exclusives on all the big recent games (Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Dragon Age, etc)... but there were also four times as many shovelware releases. In that situation, would you have sold your Wii? Yeah - no.
