That's because Bioshock is a third-party title, while Infamous is a second-party game, published by SCE.

But inFamous is owned by Sony.

That'd be like a Halo game appearing on the PS3.

I doubt they moneyhatted this ... all the stuff they are giving away is basically free other than manufacturing the soundtrack. EA's games sell better on PS3 and we've seen a pseudo alignment between EA & Sony un regards to this sort of thing. I could see Sony possibly moneyhatting that exclusive Bad Company 2 beta (the orignals beta was 360 exclusive) but this content seems more EA than Sony to me. As you said it wouldn't make sense for Sony to want these goodies in this game.

Do they really sell better? Rock Band 1&2, Madden, Bad Company, Army of Two, Brutal Legend, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge all sold more on the 360 than the PS3 versions. Is this number fudging by the SDF or something, or are they selling due to a little higher attachment rate?

I keep hearing this same argument regurgitated everywhere by the SDF someone please clarify.

I really don't think commentary or reading the book online would encourage me to get it on the PS3. But this is an example of the PS3's surge.

I'm secretly - okay, maybe not so secretly anymore - rooting for this game. It has to going through hell... heh... in trying to make a name for itself and stand out. Everyone one has just labeled it as a GoW rip off and have already decided it sucks. I would like nothing more than this game to completely rock. Why not? There can't be more than one awesome game of that style? Why can't both GoW and this game be fun? That is all it is you know, a style of game. There are very few new ideas out there. You might as well call every single game out there a rip off something else, too. Does no one want this game to turn out well? Everyone just waiting for GoW and that's that? Am I alone in this? Who is that? Where am I? I'm cold...

they're obviously trying to get those sales from people like me who only own a PS3, who think 2 God Of War esque games in 1 month is too much....they obviously did their research which showed that PS3 owners are more "mature" gamers....what they didn't realise, and why i put "mature" in quotes is that age means nothing....you really think If I'm 30 and playing videogames that I give a crap about buying a game with a BOOK as a bonus?

I haven't seen or talked to you in a while man. We need to get up and talk about some stuff like the K-1 grand prix, Hendo going to SF, the fight on Saturday and all kinds of stuff.

Penn, Mir & Florian are my picks. You see the countdown show and how big Mir has gotten? Thats crazyness ... he looks like he might be on the you know what. Anyway, can't wait to see my boy Bj fight again and realistically I don't think Sanchez is going to be able to beat him. Maybe I'm blinded or whatever because he is one of my 3 favorite fighters (BJ, Rampage & Aldo) but I just see him having an advantage in every aspect. He is quicker, better hands, better grappling, better jits, better takedown defense and more experience. I guess you could say Diego has better cardio (maybe not now though with Marinovich training BJ), kicks and maybe better takwdowns but the way I see it is if BJ takes Diego down it's probably over quick but thats not what I see if Diego takes BJ down.

I thought BJ nailed it when he said that Diego is an overachiever who has gotten this far because he is mentally strong but physically he isn't that great of athlete.

Why do we always get the really lame exclusives like this and get left out for really overpriced dlc.
I don't know how I feel about the latter but when it comes to exclusives like this, do they think anyone cares?

Activision decided to support xbox 360 better than the PS3 so its only fair that EA does the same for the PS3. I would rather both companys treated us all equally but if 1 side gets thing exclusively then the other should get them 2.

MS must buy ea ,so as to avoid or never let me2 or 3 land in the hands or tray of a ps3 or give that person the chance to play it .so that way the only way to play it would be on a pc or 360. don't get mad now i have a ps3 but since i have not used it since fight night round 3,it now just waits for me to get a game any game for that matter. of course that won't happen anytime soon ,do to the fact all of my friends have x360 & all of my online friends happen to be x360 owners .so it will collect dust for sometime. backto my comment come on MS buy EA & keep me2,3 out of ps3 hands. just don't want to see this happen .

What the should have done is (IMHO)...... make a Mass Effect (Special Edition) for PS3 and include a PS3 exlusive demo of Dante's Inferno with an extra level. Then they would have killed two birds with one stone.

As a owner of both PS3 and Xbox360, this does make me a bit upset that EA which has better sales towards PS3 to play lets make a special edition for PS3 exclusively and lets put a price at $60.00 and then laugh at Xbox360.

I could look this in a bad way and a good way, first good...rake up sales on PS3 for DI, bad people boycott it on Xbox360 until EA/DI give the Xbox360 the same treatment. People don't like being f@# by publishers, I know Activision has done it enough, but EA should know better.

I could go either way and play this game on either system, I will let the demos decide on which I love the most and get the most enjoyment out of my experience...buying it will be a toss up as well.

EA maybe if you put a little more of these goodies at Xbox360 you would get more love, instead your just going to get a stab in the back, because failing on one system shouldn't be on your playlist..

So thank EA for giving more to PS3 ( probably getting a huge check full of $$$)

I have high hopes for this. People bash it for being a GoW clone, but Visceral did the same thing with Dead Space, and after everyone stopped yelling about how it was a Resident Evil clone a lot of people ended up liking it more than RE. I'll wait for the demo before I place my pre-order, but I'm sick of being so cynical. Everyone bashes EA for keeping up the same franchises and never coming out with new IP's, but when they do something new like Mirrors Edge or Dante's Inferno no one seems interested.

I take it they need to incite PS3 owners due to GoW3 whereas this is 360 owners' only choice. I could be wrong but that seems plausible.

If EA makes more money on the PS3 Then you would believe that they would cater more to the 360 crowd for parity. It makes no business sense to pour love to one console when you have a huge install base on another. EA is not a charity so I cannot see them catering to any one platform unless there is incentive or money involve. Selling more product on one console means you need o step up your game on the other.

I did get to chance to play the demo last night and I was impressed with it and the story mix with animation was fantastic.

People shouldn't have to worry about the whole, Oh it steals from GOW, lol every company takes a piece of someone's work unless it's Sony, lol they just copy cat it...lol sorry off subject. Anyways it plays great , looks great, music and story were wonderful and I can't wait to see how it plays when it releases.

I am still awaiting it for the Xbox360 for demo play later in the month to get my full side by side comparison.

Everyone should play the demo and experience some new fun adventure.

wow hopefully you are just joking, to say thats sony copies is absurd , yes they take other idea's sometimes, and that maybe you can call them out on the whole motion control thing, but thats like saying xbox stole there rumble feature which came out before, and before they had it, and sony has it in development before nintendo, but released it after nintendo's rumble pack came out on the 64, if you want proof, check out play value videos, sony actually was suppose to partner with nintendo, to make the ps1, but nintendo stabbed them in the back, after sony was used to help develop hardware for NES System, anyway im getting off topic, sony is and always will have the most original titles that appeal to critics and consumers alike, Little big planet i mean come on you can build your own level and have someone else play it online, thats innovation, oh and the natal, is a joke has 2 developers on it, sony has that back in ps2 called eyetoy same thing just not many games for it, microsoft is a copy cat(Forza is a copy of gran turismo proof is devs on the team are from gran turismo 2, only thing they changed is it has damage on cars), sony has been making console's far longer than any of them only one older than sony in terms of hardware is probably (maybe nintendo if you count there vcr's)sega, so your saying they steal from everyone else, God of war is only owned and sony creation, and FYI all dynasty warriors games use same buttons square for light attacks, triangle for heavy, and those game's have been out since 2001, same goes for any ps1 hack n slash game, your all tards, do your homework!!!!

Okay, Okay Sony doesn't copy cat much, you know trophies and the guide button on there controller where big brain stormer ideas for them.
Little Big Planet wasn't developed by Sony, um...publshed
GOW is probably the best series Sony has Developed, which is great, but the great games of Gran Turismo and Ratchet are Published by Sony not developed by.
PS2 was only good cause of GTA which help sell the system... what was it 30 to 40 million units sold cause of a game by Rockstar, not Sony.
PS1 to me was amazing, Sony was great with it, the developers made so many great games, it was one of my favorite CD based systems. ( Even though I enjoyed my Sega CD, Sega Saturn a bit more)
Nintendo's rumble pak was horrible in design, MS just made it much better.
Natal has over a dozen developers and around 20 to 30 games will be at launch, it was also named one of the best inventions of the year.
Eyetoy is a great device, but it doesn't have the developers anymore, I mean when the playstation wand controller comes out, maybe it will get some better attention, cause it seems like the Eyetoy has been shelved for a while now.
Xbox Live has been an inspiration to Sony, Nintendo and other companies, they knew MS really had something going.
Nintendo has the best Original games in my book, but there's only so much Zelda I can play, even though a few of them were developed by Capcom.
10 ten developers of all time doesn't list Sony or Microsoft.

People label games how they are related to something else, but usually they just say there stealing it from that developer, but where did that developer get it, its usually never on there mind to find out who really made it.

This hurts me, I only have an Xbox 360, not because I like one console better than the other, but because i dont have the money to own both otherwise you bet your ass there would be two systems hooked up to the tv, but all else aside i think it would have been cool to yes give the ps3 the divine edition, but on the otherhand give the xbox 360 like a dark or undivine kind of edition, like soul cal did with darth vader and yoda, and then put dlc on both so their both equal, this console war shit pisses me off, i can understand exclusive games but eventually everything should equal out, its not fair for us who are more poor than some of the people out their just so you can make an extra couple of million bucks, cause you need more money.
