Pac-man CE is pretty damn fun. I play it quite a bit on xbox each day. Something that I can put on some music and just drift away into the game.

Thats a pretty sweet deal for it being 3 bucks.

I love me some Pac-Man. I'll often throw on an all-Rush playlist and pretend I'm in a high-tech version of the early 80s.

I'm wondering how this will control though. An analog stick is great, but a touch screen may not be so easy to use.

I'm also concerned about the controls.

Pac-Man has always required precise controls. And that's usually proven difficult on the iPhone/iPod Touch's touch screen.

But since I have about $28 left in my iTunes account, so $3 for a portable Paccy CE sounds like a no-brainer

I was thinking about getting it because TouchArcade and SlidetoPlay both love the game:

But IGN said it's a stinker!

http://wireless.ign.com/articles/105/1053163p1.html

iPhone games are at the very bottom of my list of games to play so even one negative review makes me lose attention. That said, I might check it out if one of my fellow Joystiqers recommends it!

It's once again annoying that a great game is coming to the iphone but not the PSP. I doubt the iphone controls are responsive enough to get that great of a score on the iphone version.

Count me among those frustrated that this is on the iPhone and not a platform more suited for Pac Man games.

Why not bring the DLC to the 360? I'd LOVE to play a mission mode and have more courses.

I love this line from the IGN article:
"But to sell a gamer a download (not even offer it for free, like ngmoco's Eliminate) with only a mere fraction of the total content -- less than 75-percent of the game -- and then immediately ask for more money is a prime way to turn a good thing sour real fast. I am extremely disappointed to see this tactic."

75-percent is a mere fraction? I mean by definition, I guess 75/100 is a fraction, but this is a blatant misuse of the word mere!

Anyway, it's 3 bucks. And another 3 bucks if you want the remaining 25 percent of the game. WAH WAH WAH.

The cost is a factor, but given how much it adds, it's a decent value compared to the XBLA version; I wish there was similar DLC for its big-brother!

The controls can't match the precision of an actual joystick/d-pad, but they're not -terrible-. However, I do find I can't always pull off what I can on the XBLA version, which can be frustrating. Maybe a future version might improve things furthur.

Despite that, it's great to have a "fix" on-the-go! 'wish they'd release this on the PSP too - its widescreen display and d-pad would be a better fit for it.

I bought it and I love it. Controls better than Ms. Pac that I bought a few weeks ago.
