When asked by the eccentric interviewer about the possibility, Adam responds, "It's coming out in January, and then the actual game: February 23rd." We asked Ubisoft for verification of Adam's words, and were told by a rep, "I cannot confirm a demo at this time." So, anyone know Adam?
Rumor: Splinter Cell Conviction demo coming in January
34
As you might imagine, it's kind of hard to believe the words coming out of someone's mouth when a gold wrestling championship belt is gleaming in our eyes, which is why we're not sure what to believe coming from the mysterious "Adam" regarding a possible Splinter Cell Conviction demo coming this January. Seen with the Hip-Hop Gamer in a video after the break, Adam -- a gentleman who Ubisoft wouldn't confirm to us is an actual employee -- seemingly announces the existence of an upcoming Conviction demo.
When asked by the eccentric interviewer about the possibility, Adam responds, "It's coming out in January, and then the actual game: February 23rd." We asked Ubisoft for verification of Adam's words, and were told by a rep, "I cannot confirm a demo at this time." So, anyone know Adam?

Hip Hop Gamer is one (of many) reasons why i can't stand N4G anymore, besides the crazy delusional PS3 fanboys this guy makes headlines like "Will Microsoft buy Sony?" or "Sony to lose all 2010 Exclusives?" and they eat it up like crazy. Its absurd that i left that shitty website and moved on to Joystiq just to have to read more of his bullshit on THIS site now.

Why does he have a spinner belt? Why? WHY?!!
I've seen him in some other videos and he seems like a nice guy, and he's pretty intelligent and insightful for the most part (not representative in this video so much lol).
It's just a shame that he presents himself in such a stereotyped caricature, because that wipes away any credibility that he could ever have. Hence, why I'm not a fan of his.

Thank God Ubisoft came back to this game. AC and its sequel is nice and all (or so I've heard), but Splinter Cell is eternal.
I'm loving the care they're putting into this game. Haven't been excited for an action stealth game since--well--MGS4.
Kind of a sparse genre, actually...

This guy makes me want to cry. Seriously, WTF? How in the sam hell did this moron get a hosting gig in journalism? How could he be taken seriously if at all and not made to be an errand boy? Real journalists should be ignoring and/or disputing his factless BS.
Seriously this is the most aggravating thing I've seen on here in some good time.

Seeing as how January has come and gone without the demo, I think it's safe to say this interview was bogus.

Oh, and if you want further proof, SC:C is being produced by Ubi MONTREAL. Absolutely every person from the company that has discussed the game has had a strong accent. This guy doesn't.
