Why no ANYthing else? Believe you me, I'm a fanatical Green Day fan, and even *I* am disappointed by more tracks from 21C. There are so many other mother-effing hits they could put out. As you say from Dookie, I mean would you buy a Basket Case / When I Come Around / Longview track pack? I'd buy it TWICE!

To be totally honest, I started to look into it and I spent about 1000 dollars on rock band songs overtime, so I don't buy anything more.

I know I've spent more on DLC than I'd like to admit. I'm starting to think of Rock Band as it's own entity as a result. I don't play Rock Band ON my Xbox. I play Rock Band OR my Xbox.

Who else is tired of all this crap
Don't get me wrong I love the Beatles, but Green Day?, 30 Seconds to Mars?
What happened to the classics like Pink Floyd, Rush, and Led Zeppelin. I want to see good classic bands from the 60's and 70's get their music in the game. I want Dio and Ozzy, not All-American Rejects. What happened to Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones, or The Eagles and Aerosmith. I want good classics, no more of this new crap music.

Let's hope they are keeping most of their good stuff for Rock Band 3.
Pink Floyd in a brand new (ie. not a same engine rehash) Harmonix developed game? Yes, please!

This is what happens when one of your big publishers is MTV, you're going to get weeks like this every now and then. I have no doubt that MTV pressured Harmonix to put shit like this in every once and a while, to appeal to the sort of creature that watches MTV.

(I'm somewhat guilty myself, that Jersey Shore show is so bad it's great).

You are not the only one in the world. Harmonix does not cater to your needs. These bands are all huge and deserve a spot on the game just as much as the bands you listed.

I would agrree normally that other bands should get their time, but the good classics are becoming fewer and farther between of late. And another track pack from the same album of Greenday, and not even a good one, makes me throw up in my mouth.

my roommate bought a copy of The Beatles Rock Band when it first came out because shes a huge fan, but now it sits in my collection of games, i feel as if i owe her some DLC albums because she essentially bought me a game for free.

I guess some Beatles albums will have to do

I'm glad HMX is keeping up with the Beatles:RB. Rubber Soul's not my favorite album by any means, but they've been rocking support for that game. Kudos.

Hell yeah, Rubber Soul! All we need now is Help! (the album. The song's great as well, but the entire album would be awesome)

I thought Revolver was supposed to be the third album? Happy to see Rubber Soul as I hadn't heard it mentioned before, as it gives me optimism that the White Album might be a future consideration.

Could be time to treat myself to a little plastic Rickenbacker as well.

PS. 30 Second to Mars' Kings and Queens is a decent track, IMHO

No, it was always Rubber Soul. I know because I wrote out all the announced songs when they were announced and then listened to the albums to decide which songs would be good in RB. I'm not as familiar with the names of Beatles songs as I am with the songs themselves.

I much rather prefer any and all of 30 Seconds To Mars's debut on here. But I guess that's just too much to ask for. At least it isn't all bad, it isn't anything off A Beautiful Lie.

Coincidentally, the other week was the Green Day/Mayhem week back in July.

I clicked the PS3 link and it took me to the old list (Simon & Garfunkle) but anyway if the new Green Day songs are all from their latest album then I'm not interested. How about that song Good Riddance, that's their best one. Not sure if it would make a good RB song but it might.

One song in the entire library does not count! (And even then, it isn't very "Ska"-like)

As much as I dislike you Bobby, I am glad you haven't pulled the dick move EA has by closing studios that make hit games simply because California is a terrible place to run a business. (Spare me, I live there.) Thank you for not rewarding Infinity Ward with a studio closure for making another incredible multi-million selling title.
