If you're desperately wanting to get your hands on some new glad rags for Resident Evil 5's co-operative protagonists, then the expanded "Mercenaries Reunion" gametype in the game's upcoming DLC should fulfill your sartorial fantasies. Sheva's new outfit, nicknamed "Fairy Tale," resembles Little Red Riding Hood's garments, as reimagined by someone involved in the adult film industry. Chris's new outfit, nicknamed "Warrior," simply turns him into a person-shaped collection of fists.
Sheva's duds can be seen in the video above, while Chris's can be found just after the jump. Proceed with caution if you elect to view the latter -- there's a very real possibility that your eyeballs could get punched.

Honestly, I'd say Sheva's costume looks more like B.B. Hood...
example? Here ya go!

Well, considering B.B. Hood is a Capcom character, it wouldn't surprise me :P

Geez, if the console versions had mods like the PC version, this kind of DLC would never, ever sell. The community would make better costumes anyways, such as more skimpier costumes for the female characters. ; )
But that sucks that now even with PC games, developers want to kill mod support to sell their own DLC, how sad. : (

Whatever happened to just unlocking costumes, and extras? Very few games do that nowadays, and unlocks do add to the replay value even if only a few people will go for them.

RE5 did have a lot of unlockable costumes.
It was like the only good thing about the game.

@ Dreaded Fear - Seriously. I must have poured about 40 hours into Dead or Alive Ultimate 2 just trying to unlock all the costumes. Not just costumes either, games these days are lacking in every sort of unlockable. As amazing as GoldenEye 007 was, I don't think I would have revisited the single player as often as I did over the course of four odd years if there weren't so many amazing unlockables... Where the hell did they go?!?

Yeah, I also miss the day of unlockable content, you will see these freebies disappear in favor of paid DLC. Whether its pure greed, or if its necessary to support the rising cost of game development.
We're already seeing the death of 3rd party exclusives, the only exclusives soon will be from 1st parties.

One of the many awesome things about Uncharted 2 is that there's no shortage of unlockables. You can use your in-game money to use any gun in the game at any time, or play as whatever character you want to. I played through the entire game just playing as the characters I was next to. (Jeff carrying Jeff, Elena and Elena fighting together, etc) And another playthrough just using the grenade launcher.
Now that I finally beat Dead Space, I'm playing through it again just so I can do it with all my weapons and rig upgraded and the new military suit. It seems like such a simple thing that adds a ton of replay value. You'd think more games would catch on.

When they said Mercenaries Reunion, I thought they would have a resident evil reunion(w/ leon, claire, etc.)
Me likey Sheva's outfit. Chris' looks pretty gay.

I too was hoping for him to actually be made of fists, it would've been the best costume ever, especially if they changed the boulder punching animation

SHEVA!!!
No really. Is this part of the original announced DLC? or something new entirely? The last post about the DLC on joystiq was named differently.

This actually makes me want to go finish RE5. I'm so close to being done. And apparently I'm going to be needing to get some DLC...

This is OKAY. This mode was great, and made me play the game for another few days. But I want to know what the Unknown DLC is. Hm...
