Okay people. Starkiller didnt really die, all he did was block the emperors lightning and blew everything the fuck up with it. Now vader and the emperor probably wanted the disposal of the body, then some stormtroopers pick you up and drop you on a random planet but you wake up, something like that

This could take place in post trilogy canon which is largly convoluted and I doubt anyone would mind. Just make Starkiller an old ass man, who hid is lifeforce blahblahblah didn't actually die blahblahblah shamed for not stopping the darkside blahblahblah Vadar has heart blahblahblah. Add a love interest, lame kiss and BAM STAR WARS.

Doesn't look all that dead, they just kinda glance at him. They all blew up and the none of them were physically harmed. What they say around the water cooler is that Yoda finds him as a random arena fighter without a memory (oh lawd). It's gonna totally suck but who cares if they just fucking do as their fans say and bring us some Jedi Knight II style multiplayer but all nextgenified.

He would only need to be about 10 years older for it to be post trilogy, I really think that they should explore that area of the universe. But not much goes on around then.

A year to come to the PC, but no PC on the planet can run it at playable max settings. I don't know how anyone could port a game that poorly. Did they just create some pisspoor hoggy 360 emulator and run the original game inside it? I unno.

I'd actually heard from someone that the reason GTA4 for PC was so demanding and unoptimized is that it used from 360 emulation code. That's good news for me since my PC can handle that game and The Force Unleashed and hopefully a 360 emulator is around the corner for the PC. ; )

I'd say, since the 360's hardware is fairly straightforward, that an emulator for that should be done within a few years. PS3 emulation is going to be a bitch, probably as bad as Saturn emulation (which still has issues, even 15 years after the hardware was finalized)

How about a General Kota themed game? He's probably the single most interesting and badass character anyone has created in any of the Star Wars games. Favors humans over clones/droids, thinks the force is nothing more than a means to lead the true soldiers into battle, and he fucking wears armor. Come on guys, make it happen.

I'm pretty happy with the first one as-is, to be honest. The game was just fun for me, being a Star Wars-o-phile, and by letting the player be Darth Vader kicking ass was a low blow for hardcore diehard SW fanboys. (Like me)

I'm an admitted fanboy. I can see the good in the prequels, I also see the bad, but when it's all said and done, I saw all three in the theater. The first was okay, the second was better, but should have had a different Anakin, and I REALLY DUG part three. Except the 'she died of a broken heart' nonsense. Robot Chicken hit the nail on the head.

But this could take place in the years before the events of the first one while he's learning. OR it could take place after.

Who knows. I liked the first one, and will likely like the second.

I'd prefer an actual sequel to JK, or a Starwars game that takes place during the Vong invasion. It would be nice to see a game in an era that hasn't been done to death.

What a severe disappointment. So The Force Unleashed is getting a sequel but Battlefront III remains either canceled or in limbo? From what I've read the console versions of The Force Unleashed had some issues, then we wait a year for a PC port that is crap. So, instead of making the sequel to the two games that were the best selling Star Wars games ever they make a sequel to mediocre game? I was so totally psyched for this announcement to be Battlefront III. Ugh.

Force Unleashed wasn't a good game for $60. It had too many bugs but for $25 it was worth it.

The story was very good and the game type has a lot of potential. Jedi Knight was a good game but Jedi Knight II took the series to a whole new level. Maybe it will be the same with SWFUII.

You don't know that Starkiller was really dead. They just walk over and say "he is dead then". At the end of the game he is way more powerful than Vader and even more powerful than the emperor. He is kind of Luke before post Return of the Jedi Luke as he uses light and dark side powers.

He saved Kota, Leia, and Bail Organa from the Emperor but the Emperor didn't check to see if he was really dead and left him with Vader. You know from the game and series canon that Vader never fully went over to the Darkside. He always wanted to destroy the Emperor and at the end of the game the best way to do so would be to keep Starkiller alive. Besides Vader impaled him and threw his body off into space, yet somehow Vader brought him back. A Force explosion shouldn't have killed him. Look at Yoda in Episode III, it was the exact situation. Vader probably sent Starkiller off to a distant part of the galaxy with no memory where Yoda senses his presence.

From Episode III to IV is around 17 years. In Force Unleashed Leia looks to be about 12 or 13 which leave five or so years for Force Unleased II before Luke leaves Tatooine. During that time the Rebel Alliance grows and Vader steps up the offensive. The Death Star is also built to deal with the rebels.

However Starkiller and Kota will have to die by the end of the second game so they don't impact the movies. At the start of Episode IV the rebel alliance is pretty much rooted out and in retreat. It is only by destroying the Death Star that they begin to increase again.

The story can all fit in and can actually explain how the rebels could even start the rebellion and have any success.

Okay people calm down.. I'm as big of a star wars fan as the next person and maybe even more. I way enjoyed the first one and still even play it cause it's that good. Now as far as a sequel goes here's some thoughts to chew on!

1. Cloned- I doubt it.
2. Points have been pointed out that we don't know what happened to his body after being *Killed*. Stop and think about this one. In the tatooine add-on we run into proxy and that's on the alternate side. Now where is Proxy when Starkiller *Dies*?? He's not shown in the ending CGI nor is he mentioned! Plus Proxy is always keeping tabs on Starkiller. Think about that.
3. If Starkiller is alive and kicking after being "KILLED" why can't it fallow the orginal star wars story? Starkiller could be out doing other things when Luke and the main Rebel fleet are taking care of what you see in the movies. If you think about these quotes from Empire Strikes back. Kanobi says "That Boy is the only hope we have" then Yoda says "No, There is another." Now at the end of Episode 3 you see Kanobi while Luke and Leia are being born and even afterwards. So that rules out the possibility that Yoda was talking about Leia. So what if Yoda wasn't talking about Leia. What if Yoda was hinting to Someone else Kanobi doesn't know about??
4. This could also take place sometime during the original game. Many years pass in the game. Granted it only feels like a couple of minutes. You never know what could have happened while starkiller was traveling. This could be a continuation to a certian point of the game you never know.
5. WHO THE HECK CARES IF IT DOESN'T FALLOW THE ORIGINAL STORY LINE ANYMORE! Does that seriously make this game bad just cause it doesn't fallow the orignal Star Wars? People are going on about how the first game was great or they had issues with it but still enjoyed it. So why can't this game be great as well?

I persoanlly am going to be grabbing this game when it comes out and gonna play it just as much as I Do the first one! Bash all you want. It's just words and the internet.

Maybe that isn't starkiller, it looks almost nothing like him other than the short hair, the face is completely different, and why would he change his number of sabers or holding style? in all versions but the stupid wii version he held it like maris brood did when you fought her (this was changed to eliminate dificulties with holding the wiimote, just thougt i'd throw that in there), kinda like some people would hold a night stick, now that was awesome! anything else would seem like theyre milking it too hard, george lucas always makes things make a certain level of sense or they dont make it in, the man tied together 6 movies made it two different installments! so my money's on this being a new character with an unoriginal name like oh idk starwalker or skykiller or perhaps sunstabber maybe even whitedwarfmurderer. oh btw read one of the first comments about battlefront 3, thanks for the good news, SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! loved the first two, they better not make any major changes for the worse or ill be *issed

maybe this new guy was trained by yoda to avenge starkiller and destroy the emperor, maybe vader somehow got ahold of him or his influence, maybe he started out being trained by vader and on a mission to dagobah yoda tries to sway his influence toward the light side, explaining the voices of the two in the tunnel like either yoda has turned him and thats why vader keeps putting him down, ooh ooh maybe this dude is kota's son?

Well perhaps this is still set during the same time as the first game. The video showed him and having Yoda and Vader in his mind, his dual sabers are blue not red so therefore he is probably on the good side.

"Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition also features three additional missions:

The first of the three additional single-player missions included in the Ultimate Sith Edition is set in the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant. In this mission, Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice turns to the Jedi Temple to learn more about his father, and while searching through the rubble of the destroyed building he must confront his inner demons.

The second extra mission continues the story of The Force Unleashed in a new “Infinities” storyline that takes the Star Wars Saga in an entirely new direction. The level begins at the end of the story of The Force Unleashed and re-imagines the Star Wars Saga as if the Secret Apprentice had taken Darth Vader’s place at the Emperor’s side, becoming the most powerful Sith Lord in the universe. The story picks up as the Emperor sends his new apprentice to Tatooine to dispatch Obi-Wan Kenobi – who has been hiding on the planet ever since the events of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. During their hunt for the reclusive Jedi, players will also explore the depths of Jabba the Hutt’s palace and encounter notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett.

The final new level concludes the “Infinities” storyline set up in the Tatooine mission, as the Secret Apprentice is sent to the planet Hoth on a crusade to crush the Rebellion once and for all. While on Hoth, players face Luke Skywalker himself while visiting iconic locations seen in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back."

Pay particular attention to level two, taking the star wars saga in a whole new direction should Starkiller take Vader's place...

okay, look for all you people who say "Star Killer DIED!!" yeah maybe you THINK he died, if you remember it never actually showed him dying, and who says this can't fit into the story-line without messing up the Original Triology? because in all actuality during this time, Luke is still un-detected by the Emperor and his daddy, Darth Vader, so Star Killer can still be killed, or be one of the many Jedi who are found in hiding later on in the series (after Luke re-establishes the Jedi Temple/Order). Okay yeah I get the ending of SWTFU showed a de-hatted Vader and crippled Emperor standing over a motionless Star Killer, but who says he actually died? maybe in a moment of Sith stupidity, which happens time to time, they just dumped his body on a random planet, or maybe even Darth Vader kept him alive, who knows...the official story, as far as i know, has not been released yet, so how about we just wait and see what happens??? There were a few flaws in the first game, but come on, look what it introduced, major thing being the first game with UNSCRIPTED A.I. let's just hope the fixed the bugs, and hope the story-line is just as incredible, though hopefull even more so, as the first. Either way it was a great game, if you don't like it then who cares? Quit your whining.

Of course i am grateful for a 2nd game, and Starkiller is cool and all but the only problem of this is it can mess the whole story. Think about it, he clearly can destroy vader and grew strong enough to take down the emperor and if not for General Kota i am sure he would have stabbed him. Not to mention when they locked force, Starkiller was actually pushing forward towards him. I could be wrong but i truly think he is the more powerful one.
And i am assuming he is now more Jedi then Sith i guess just because of his lightsabers in the video, i hope so anyhow. I am sure once it's out it will make more sens
