Yeah :(

Should've been a continuation of the sands of time series, instead of a movie cash im.Or even better, some closure on PoP2008.

On a slightly related note, if there is a Warrior Within sequel to the film, i'm sure no one can pull off emo prince, surely its Donnie Darko?

Looks like ass.

A half-assed trailer, half-assed logo. A game based off a movie that's based off a game sounds like 2 too many filters and recipe for mediocrity.

Just give us a sequel to the last game, please.

For a game that's supposed to come out in May, and we're getting gameplay footage of other games that are coming out after this game - months further down the road, even - all we can get is a pre-rendered CGI 1 minute video of a game "based" on a movie based on the franchise which this game is a sequel to the final entry in the original trilogy, which you ended 5 years ago, thus opening up more plot holes than there needs to be with this game.

Come on, Ubisoft. We expect FAR more from you than this. And if this is supposed to be after Two Thrones in the Sands of Time trilogy, why doesn't The Prince look more like the SoT Prince rather than Gylenhaal?

Oh, wait...

@Demoman Fear: The non-dlc ending was far better, imho. The Epilogue ending was very lackluster, and I kind of wish they'd left it alone. I do want a sequel, though. Bad.

An epilogue is not an ending and the Epilogue DLC was definitely an epilogue. There's no more closure at the end of the DLC than there is at the end of the game.

I really didn't like the 2008 PoP if this game is going to be anything like PoP sands of time then I'm going to love it because sands of time was my favorite..

don't know why you got downvoted because you're right, the worst part of the 2008 PoP was that you can't die, eliminating all tension and sense of accomplishment.

PoP 2008 looked great and gameplay was butter-smooth, but elika should have limits or at least the OPTION of a harder game.

This is the way I felt about the Pirates of the Caribbean ride after they updated it after the movie came out...A ride based on a movie based on a ride... I think I need a little lie down.

Awesome they brought back the Prince of douche. What's this lame ass music? Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and the Prince of Persia 2008 were both incredible games but everything else was an abomination and an embarrassment to mankind and Ubisoft especially.

I don't really get if this is related to the movie or Sands of Time or something entirely new. The Prince looks like the Sands of Time one but it doesn't look like Gyllenhall. But then I thought Sands of Time was supposed to end with Two Thrones.

The trailer also didn't look that good. Is the team from the SoT trilogy or the 08 PoP working on this, or is a different team to fart it out in time for the movie?

Don't fuck up the PoP franchise again, Ubi. PoP3D was enough failure for a lifetime.
