Actually, according to the EA press release we just received, the demo for Army of Two: The 40th Day will be released in significantly less than 40 days. It'll arrive on the PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace on December 17, and the PSP demo will drop on January 7 (January 14 in Europe). The preview will allow players to get a sneak peek at most of the game's first level, which takes place in Shanghai -- but you know what? None of that is important. What is important is seen in the trailer for the demo, which we've posted above.
Now, jump to a little bit before the halfway mark, and keep an eye out for the strange interaction between the game's two beefy protagonists. What is that? It's like ... the future of fist-bumping technology. The forearm-bump. More subtle, yet still triumphant. Less aggressive, but still dripping with bravado. An alternative manly salutation or congratulation for the gentleman's mercenary. Study the technique, friends. This thing's gonna catch on like wildfire.

You got me all wrong Pedo! I'm just there to, ummm, clean her pipes...erm...clean THE pipes. You know, for my plumbing business I do on the side...yeah, that's it.

Awesome, Demo is a must on this one. The first part sucked in the end for me, so I need to be assured the bad stuff has been addressed, but breath won't be held.

I hate how they've seemingly made the game more "serious." I play games to escape the harsh reality of life not to be brought back into it. The first one was a hilariously unserious B action movie type game with plenty of over the top dialog and bromance.

They are both valid. "Fewer than 40 days" means "x number of days, where x is specifically an integer such that 0 less than or equal to x less than 40." "Less than 40 days" means "xy amount of time, where x is a real number such that 0 less than or equal to x less than 1, and where y is a single unit of time defined as equivalent to 40 days." Thus, the "fewer" delineates 40 discrete values, whereas the "less" defines a continuous range of values.

I really liked the first one. I was hoping for something a little bit more than a forearm bump, like perhaps a co-op crotch grinding move or something.

December 17th seems to be pretty awesome right now. English Peace Walker demo, Gran Turismo 5 demo, and an Army Of Two demo.
And on the 18th the ModNation Racers beta goes live, so this seems to be pretty kick-ass timing.

All they need to do is fix the melee from the first game and I'll be happy. I loved the first one. It's a stupid game that knows it's stupid and has a fun time tell you how stupid it is. Not everything out there has to be citizen kane. But, when you try to be citizen kane and you end up with goodburger then you failed.
