Comparing used prices to new isn't fair, digital or not. Compare it to the prices of the boxed game new at retail. Your point still stands.

For $30... I'll pass. It's $20 on amazon right now. $36 for this, lost planet, and dead rising. Games on Demand pricing is ridiculous.

Games on demand is an absolute rip off! Most games are priced at 30 euro when their retail counterparts are WELL below that. Heck, Call of duty 2 is 30 euro and that was a launch game!

No Steam? No sale.
And I already have this for PS3, so it's kind of useless. Also, why is the price so high? You can get this anywhere for $10-$20

"the digital distribution partner of your choice,"

I know that bit is super confusing, so just to clear things up for you, Steam is a digital distributor. Additionally, this bit: "starting December 22" explains why it's not on the service yet.

Can't you get Dead Rising, Devil May Cry 4: and Lost Planet: Colonies Edition all in one set for $30 at the store.

Actually your post is some what wrong. Devil May Cry and all the characters in it are all based on The Divine Comedy and more specifically Dante's Inferno. Not as closely as the Dante's Inferno game but it is based on it so yes, he is THAT Dante :P

Who is the fucking idiot that is picking the prices for these games? MS points the finger at the publishers but I call bullshit, since MS already adjusts the prices on DLC against publishers' wishes...You can get 3 games for the same price in store and while you won't get much for reselling them, it's more than $0.00, not to mention that noone really established how long we really get to "keep" these games for. They are their own worst enemy in this and I know they have claimed this is all a success, but I'm sure they could exponentially sell more digital units, thus increasing revenue if they at the very least remained competitve and set realistic prices. If games cost what they do because of all the "middlemen", then why the same cost when said middlemen are gone?
Thanks for the option, but I'd rather pay less and get more with my games
