is anyone else completely reminded of Pirates of the Caribbean? Especially the part where he lands next to the girls and smiles...*exactly* like Jack Sparrow. also, the cgi in this seems really distracting, especially at the very beginning when he's standing on the platform.
not saying that this movie is gonna suck, but it probably is. i'm still gonna watch it though

Exactly HighFive - while the film looks fun I can't get past them casting a caucasian for the role of a a Persian prince - makes no sense. Why not have Billy Crystal play Ghandi?

Persians by and large refers to Iranians, Iran / Persians are actually Caucasian

Its pretty difficult to cast if you go to the North of Iran, Iranians have green eyes and very light brown hair, down south and the Iranians are much darker skin.
Ultimately it doesnt matter, as long as they dont typecast all of the baddies to be dark skinned and all of the heroes to be light skinned and western.. Because thats just racist and wrong and exactly what western Cinema does, it type casts all light skinned people as the heroes and and all the dark skinned as evil and badies, which is about as Racist as you can get...

"Parkour" isn't that some sort of technique where your movements are strictly physical when you run, jump, move across walls, jump off of high buildings...something like from the french movie, District 13 or in french it's "Banlieue 13"? I actually think he's a fine actor, and Donnie Darko is masterful, but I've been feeling that his casting choices have been less than stellar.
Brockback Mountain is also a deeply affecting film, so much so that I can't actually watch it a second time.
