That was the most profound statement ever made. I think.

If they had a working version of this game for my Sega genesis, I'd probably want to buy it.

I wish the carts would function, even if they were just crappy games. I'd help out too if I knew how to program for one of the Atari consoles or something, just because it's for a good cause.

it would be REALLY cool if those cartridges would actually work, even to play terrible games thrown together in five minutes. I'm sure its not very time consuming compared to current gen games and I would definitely buy one then.

I'm sure your father said the same thing. But, what else could the old bastard do but hit the bottle and put the spurs to the old girl. Anything to get her to stop bitching about her biological clock...

Haha, Christ that was predictable and lame.

My most sincere apologies to where I don't think even plastic boxes with mediocre art on them for charity are worth anything.

... and that's what your dad said when he finished?

Every comment you make is negative and pessimistic. I realize you are going through "adolescence" and think anything and everything is "un-cool", but it is a charity auction and that is something nice. The way you phrased your little retort makes it sound as if you are apologizing to yourself. You should.

His response to your comment was predictable? Wow, you must be an f'ing mind reader then, cause that was pretty clever I thought.

the cost of making a fully playable 8-bit game would probably be a lot more then you think, maybe not creating the game but creating a fully operational cartridge. I don't know much about the industry but don't those old out of use parts get hard to come by?

It would've been fun if they looked like cartridges, but contained a playable, mini-DVD game disc inside, to keep costs down. Oh well...

I've always wanted to play that Burger King/Splinter Cell game, never grabbed it while it was available (Xbox I think).

It doesn't take much to be the best part of the Matt Hazard series, I guess.

Those don't even look enough like classic Atari carts to even be interesting. I mean, they could have made the labels look a little more realistic. Or have done an evolution thing, since Mat Hazard 3D probably wouldn't have have been on the 2600.

It's almost like the Matt Hazard team wanted to be a self-parody from the beginning of development
