What poor online? You mean playing with random people? That's your fault for playing this game with random people. The game runs and plays flawlessly with 4 friends, you just gotta make sure your friends aren't douches and take all the loot.

Poor online? Don't know where you got that feeling from, maybe if your internet connection sucked.

@tmac.

my friends list is empty. always has been. i have over 5 friends that play this game and none of them are ever on. im on their list though. i also dont ever get their invites. plus, half the time i couldnt connect to the online. always got signed out of psn (and no its not my connection. all needed ports forwarded, nat 3, router firewall off, yadda yadda yadda). on top of the extremely poor frame rate when 4 people play. just check the ps3 tech forums on the gearbox site. its flooded with threads with all kinds of issues.

My friend tricked me into thinking he was not a douche by playing in my game and saving all of the good loot for me... then he started to talk over each of the very lean story bits that he was on for... and rushing ahead and collecing all of the scavenger pieces because he knew where they all were after 5 playthroughs...

So, I left and started playing Modern Warfare 2 ;)

I'm not having the greatest time either. None of my friends are gamers, so I'm looking for people to play with... I've been using gameranger because it is a lot more populated than the regular servers.

I'm kinda upset you can't do 2 players to a screen with system link. Not a deal breaker, but still a bit meh.

Borderlands still = AMAZING.

I was gonna say something to the effect below, but instead I'll just make sure you see Alastorzxe's since it wasn't a direct reply and sums it up quite nicely:

"nat 3? Wrong. That means you have ports closed. Learn how to set your PS3 up before you rip on games for something completely in your control."

Easy. When ME2 comes you put everything else down for that. ME2 takes priority over every game ever.

Oh I know, I was just messing around with tmac since he hates all JRPGs and said that ME2 will take priority over every other game.

Sorry Captain, didn't mean to get you riled up any.

I am prepared to say that Final Fantasy X was the worst one in the entire series. VIII was pretty bad, but nothing can compare to the androgeny and selling out X and everything afterwards meant for Squeenix.

Mainly though, I just can't stand Tidus. What's an even MORE annoying Ellen Degeneres doing in my RPG?

$10 is too much for this after I just spent $10 for zombie island. I think I'm just gonna sell my copy while I can still get some decent money for it.

Cool!! Now all they need to do is raise the level cap. I would love to level up to 100. I don't know why they only made it to level 50.

I've played more Borderlands this year than any other game, but I'm not sure I want to pick this one up. The zombie thing was pretty cool, but I'm not sure it was worth $10, so I'm pretty wary about dropping another 10 on this one.

But can I replay these battles over and over?...or like all previous arenas, when they are done, they're done.

I loved this game for 2 playthroughs maxing out my character to level 50. But now everything is getting old, Zombie Island was a joke, every boss died from one clip of my SMG. Battling friends in the arenas is fun, but everyone kills each other in one shot so its just not that exciting.

This game needs DLC that has what we (I) love about this game. Collecting loot, good loot (not the crap all the bosses have dropped so far), and boss battles that are difficult, arenas with waves upon waves of bad guys that is difficult like Firefight/horde/nazi zombie type stuff, and ones I can replay.

For $10 it's almost worth the gun locker, but I want to be able to go in and replay these arenas over and over, and for the to be difficult.

Moxxi better drop some freaking decent guns or I'ma bitchslap her.. Then she can do it to me, 'cause I'm kinky like that.

I hope it's not all just level 50-51-52s on PT 2.5, 'cause that just gets monotonous.. Maybe one big bad ass 55, with a couple easy murders of 45s etc.

Absolutely amazing game that I've dropped hours and hours into, but I think I'm going to pass on this piece of DLC after thoroughly enjoying The Island of Dr. Ned. I'm XP capped, so I'm looking forward to a future update that will raise the level.

I'm not interested in the arena pack, so I think it sucks that they're attaching the additional weapon storage to this. That should be part of a free patch.

No. Save your money or get better friends. You're really missing out on this and Left 4 Dead 1/2. The best gaming is online with friends gaming.

I think this is worth it, the Zombie Island was more then worth the $10. I don't know if you guys didn't enjoy the humor or the story, but the game was awesome, that DL was awesome and i'm looking forward to more of the same in this DL. I'll gladly pay $10 again.

The only thing I don't like is it seems as though each DLC is only focusing on one thing... throwing more palette swapped enemies at us to kill, which is all well and good. But Fallout 3 did the same thing, plus added story, new equipment/weapons, new sidequests new enemy types and more.

Zombie Island was fun, but hardly worth $10, especially after they claimed there was "50 new quests" only to have there be 25 with two playthroughs, no new weapons/mods, a broken vending machine, framerate issues and palette swapped zombies.

I'll give Mad Moxxi's DLC a chance, cuz I enjoyed the tournaments, buuut I'm iffy if they're going to have no new enemies, old bosses and such running around. Plus, I hope at some point they include something with a lot of quests/story a la Broken Steel, 'cuz just throwing old enemies at us constantly is getting stale... I want new stuff.

Not to act like I'm trying to be mean, but maybe you should go to their official fourms and make a thead. More enemys, more weapons, & raising the level cap. I think they could've done a lot more things to the game. But so far, the game's been a blast, especially the 2nd playthrough.

I'd agree. I was excited for Zombie Island, then the first group of zombie's started to charge...I mean walk as slow as humanly possible at me. I kill 95% of the enemies in one clip or less from any of my guns. Maybe because I'm at the level cap everything has lost its appeal (I loved my first and second playthrough). But with each addition to this game I'm looking for more challenging enemies and better loot.

I found as many chests in Zombie Island as there are in New Haven, though I can spam New Haven in like 2 minutes. No boss has ever dropped a weapon worth picking up and using (sometimes I sell them, but money means nothing anymore). Unfortunately this game losses all its replay value at the level cap beyond farming loot. The gun lockers are needed, but I want challenge to this game, and hopefully these arenas are difficult and infinitely replay-able (I assume so with no rewarded XP). Best co-op game I've ever played, if it had something as fun as firefight, and as difficult, I'd continue to play this game more.

ten bucks per DLC? keep 'em coming, i take one each month.. damn, I'd probably take one each week....

ten bucks is like two drinks at the local club, and the DLC gives you definitely more entertainment time than two cuba libre.. more than worth the cash..

Amen to that, 10 bucks for even a few hours entertainment is money well spent. Besides you can always poke back in every few days and slam it for a few hours at a time. Its hellgate london the way it should have been. I only play the game solo offline and i still love it.
