It's nothing of the sort. It's proof that touchscreen implementations of this type don't work. There's a long list of games that work beautifully on the iPhone.

Ha, I remember reading those comments on that Metal Slug review. My thoughts at the time were something along the lines of, 'wow, what a train wreck.'

I also remember Bury the Shovelware - and Kaes. His columns were always thought provoking.

They should stop trying to make action platformers on the iPod. I'm glad to see that SNK didn't just try a port with fake dpad like other games did, but I don't want to play games like this when I know they are so much better with a dpad and buttons.

What the heck does the avoid button make the sprite do anyways? Do you just go backward or fade into the BG?
