Why do people keep calling her a hermaphrodite? A male spirit in a female body is not a hermaphrodite. If you have a vagina and a penis, then you're a hermaphrodite.

Yep, saw all those in the theater. It's a personal thing, I don't like to watch movies or play games that superfluously add "fuck" to everything when kids are in the house. I've been enjoying games for over 20 years without it, and I don't see how it adds anything.
Amazing how quick all you pricks are to judge, though. Sexless angst?

it's a teaser. Teasers aren't meant to sell the game dude. Trailers are meant to sell the game. I'm sure this teaser will be followed up by a trailer that will do a better job of instilling or eradicating any sort of interest you have or will have in the title.

Although, I hope I'm wrong and they can polish this up, but it's from the developer of Bullet Witch.
I expect this and Quantum Theory to be 2 disasters in 2010.

the gameplay didn't look any worse than any other game of this nature. You swing a sword at stuff and throw around some magic stuff. The only bad thing I could see from the live demos was the player character's face, which looked kinda scary, in an unintentional kind of way.

Squeenix really should pay attention when releasing this game in Holland and give it another title. "Nier" means "kidney" in Dutch. Unless the game is actually about kidney's, I do not think it is plus to have that title. Just like the Toyota Opa, already not a succes in the world, but "Opa" means "grandfather" in Dutch.
Localisation, I hate it, but sometimes it is really needed.
