Sky Crawlers release date crawls back a week

Did we say January 5? You're actually going to have to wait a little longer for The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces on Wii. XSEED has informed us of a new release date for the Project Aces-developed flight game: just one week later, on January 12, 2010 [edit: Corrected the date.]

While that might not be the best news, the publisher also let us know the MSRP for the game: just $29.99. That's going to make it a lot easier for curious gamers to find room in the crowded Q1 for this somewhat niche game.

Jan 20 is two weeks after Jan 5.

Crystal Bearers' release date getting bumped up a week (at least by my Gamestop. Maybe they're just breaking street) makes up for it :)

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, so any extension of that experience would be great for me plus the asking price is too hard to ignore. First day purchase.

I already pre-ordered this game. I haven't played a flight game in years, but I loved the movie and as soon as I found out that Mamoru Oshii would be supervising the game's production, I knew I had to get this.
It got a 7 in Nintendo Power though. Which is weird, because if you actually read the review without looking at the score they make it sound like it should have gotten at least an 8.
