but load times suck on 1000 and it only run 222 mhz so games aren't as smooth.

Um, ALL PSPs are capable of 333 MHz. It's the games that chose 222 or 333

Jetcars were experimented with back in the 50's and 60's.

Jet-turbine engines aren't very good and stop and go movement, being better at continuous go. That, and exhaust temperatures of 400+ degrees behind your car wasn't nice, either.

Oh, and jetpacks do exist, they just don't go very far, or longer than about 20 seconds or so. While neither of these are commercial available, they do in fact exist.

Seconded. There have been plenty of jetpacks around; they're just not all that practical.

I've also seen a jet car (again, not practical but they exist).

Ever see that bond movie where he uses a jet pack thing that's like the one in GTA:SA?
It was a real working jetpack too.

I was hoping to see a PSP2 in 2010, but with the PSP Go out this year, I doubt they're gonna kill it off that quickly. So I said okay, how about 2011? If they're gonna do another redesign next year on anything I think that could pretty easily push the release back to 2012.

WHAT THE FUCK SONY! Gah. The original PSP was nice and I loved it, but you need to start fresh already. I want a PSP with dual analog nubs, more power, a touch screen, and total integration to the PSN. You can't really do any of that on the original PSP without fragmenting the user base or ripping apart the infrastructure.

It'll probably be just a psp 3000 with internal storage and bluetooth, and maybe slimmer casing

I think it might be about time to release a straight up successor. Same to you DS. We've had a good five years together, but it's time for something new.

i thought the 1000 had was forced to be 222 mhz unless you have cfw.

isn't that why they made that comparison video for god of war: CoO???

No, its too soon for a PSP2. If you thought the Go was expensive, the PSP2 is sure to cost a hefty lot, probably at the same price range as the PS3.

Anyways I'm curious to see how the PSP 4000 will look like or what new features it will have(Not to mention its price!).

It'll be a more expensive PSP to encourage people to buy the Go instead.

A 4000 would be nice. It could pretty much just be a 3000, only with the Bluetooth and internal flash memory features that the Go has.

Im going to be pissed if this has a camera. Im getting a psp go for christmas (since i dont really like carrying umds and it would be great for music) and i have been waiting not for a psp2 but for a psp with a built in camera since psp2000. Now that im getting a PSPgo sony releases a newer model WITH a camera ?!?!! ugh.. the whole thing is just agitating. Assuming this comes with a camera (that isnt crappy 1.3 mp)

Why not release a psp-2 with built in camera, GPS, 1 seg tuner already..

I really like my PSP-2000 despite only having 5 or so great titles the whole year but enough is enough. The PSPgo redesign has failed to recapture the american market so what do they think a PSP-4000 will do. Please Sony, for the love of god just make a PSP2 and you will be free to add all the features we want without alienating current owners.

If it IS a PSP with a 2nd nub.. They could just make the games 2nd nub compatable. Not really changing anything, but adding to it. It could work/play fine with or without the 2nd nub. I dunno. Just an idea.

I'm pretty against the whole strict digital-only plan of the Go, and my PSP-1000 is kind of shot... I'm interested if there's a new model! If it genuinely does ANYTHING new from the previous models besides minimal enhancements. Sony's been a bit off with the handheld generation this time...

How hard would it be for Sony to make the new PSP have a touch screen? Maybe have it be motion sensored? I'd buy one of those.

Nothing against your likes and opinions but I just don't get why touch screen is the "it" thing now. A lot of people want it and now there are computers even with touch screens. Why? I just don't see the draw in touching everything to use a product. Is it fun, easier for you, enjoyable, or what?

Again, I'm not putting down your likes, but just curious.

My PSP 1000 runs fine, except the analog nub broke just the other day (i think the little "down" micro switch is broken) but for nearly five years of almost constant use, it has earned its retirement. It sure has worked hard, and at 333MHz to boot!

I'm not sure why Sony feels the need to release another model every year now. The 3000 has been holding up well against piracy and modding, has it not?

This seems like good news cause I recently sold my PSP 2000 limited edition (bronze) to my cousin and I told myself that I would wait to see what the new 4000 brings. I really didnt like the PSP GO that much and felt that it didnt bring enough "new" for the $250 price tag. Also the smaller screen was a killer for me. I hope that we dont have to wait too long now like Christmas of next year.. Hopefully Summer or Fall 2010 @ the latest.
