Will give this a whirl. Going through the second run-through of DA:O and getting to the dreaded Fade section. This may be a nice break.

A very enjoyable WRPG all around. I posted my thoughts in the previous Joystiq post. I played the complete versions on both PC and Xbox 360. The PC version enjoys more success when it comes to performance, but the 360 version is a solid package. A few framerate dips and lower resolution textures (the latter was expected, though) and that's about it. The game is still beautiful in terms of its style on Xbox 360. Combat is a fun affair. Dodging attacks, both magic and melee, is very easy due to the targeting system. It's not a blockbuster masterpiece, but a solid RPG in the realm of Sacred 2 and the like. I gave it 7.0 on Xbox 360 and 7.5 on PC.

Divinity is a nice break compared to DAO, less focus on the story and more focus on the battles and combat system. If you found yourself struggling to keep play DAO this is a perfect game for you, and even if you did like DAO, as it has been said, its a good break from the lengthy story development.

I can't wait to try it. The first game was really solid, and I was wondering how long it would take for the sequel. Gameplay videos and fancy armor makes me *fap* :DD

hmmm... as fun as spankin' it to the stylings of The dark ages - dont get me wrong tho that chick up there looks to have a nice pair o legs, I don't think the pre-order armor will be a big incentive. Showing off the armor might be worth something... if it was online maybe but not a single player.. The demo however, I'm happy about

Relying on a Mac to be your only source of gaming = not good.

Amen to that. This was horrid. If I want a good story, I'll just read a book. I couldn't hardly fathom how damn choppy this was. The skill system was meh, kinda interesting, but if I really want to get into an RPG like this, I'll just go play Diablo2 LoD again.

Which version did you try out? I tried the 360 version.. and why would some one make the RT the jump button? It just feels... weird. And while watching me attempt to play the game and throw some punches, my girlfriend said "that makes him look like a mental patient, did they do that on purpose?"

Wasn't my cup o' tea, and my hard drive won't be missing it. If you like it, that's fine, just not for me, and I still got plenty of hours of DA:O and Mass Effect to replay.

LOL. People kill me sometimes.

Next movie I see with great visuals, I'm gonna say "That was idiotic. If I want good graphics, I'll just play a video game".

Well then... if anyone is interested the makers of Div2 are throwing another contest...
Quest for Glory - more swag than last time, and I think the requirements are a bit easier - just be the first to get 100% of the achievements
