Alright, we don't need people feeding the troll and pushing all of the legitimate comments off of the first page.

To those thinking of slapping on caps lock and chewing out someone who obviously doesn't have a worthwhile opinion, don't bother. Just move along, nothing to see here.

Haha, they have to give the DLC away on PC 'cause nobody is even playing it anymore.

Sort of like nobody will be playing MW2 on PC either in a few weeks, dedicated servers are sort of important guys...

I doubt that, not having dedicated servers was a huge let down but people are still going to play MW2, it's just that popular.

http://www.xfire.com/games/codmw2/Call_of_Duty_Modern_Warfare_2/

You mean, besides the fact more people are playing *COD2* right now and that steadily less hours are being clocked into the game every day?

For a "popular" game it sure doesn't look to be staying that way.

I am probably in the minority, but there are far too many FPS especially military FPS that while graphics are different it comes down to the same exact gameplay with very little new innovation.

I hate how they give PC users the DLC for free when they already have the best version, and then force the console players to pay for the DLC on the worst version. I thought they were going to release free DLC - I'm sick of developers charging $5-$10 dollars for a few maps. The maps they're charging for are already on the disc!

I hate how you console gamers bitch whenever the PC version has an advantage over the console version when so many multiplatform games are better on the consoles, come out earlier, get DLC, collector's editions, etc. Nobody ever says that console gaming is "dying".

This game is shit and was shipped in an unplayable and broken state. Not to mention CM lied about every single aspect that was supposed to be in the game. This is the worst game I've played this entire generation. Who gives a damn about DLC for such a terrible piece of shit game? I hate talking like this about games but this game is nothing but an epic failure in every way possible. Nice of them to add the helicopter as DLC ... the one they promised you could fly before the game launched that you couldn't fly in the retail code. Worst. Game. Ever.

This game was so bad when I took it back to trade it in a Gamestop the next day the guy at the counter said he return it as new because no one should have to pay for that piece of shit game. True story.

I was very disappointed with OP/F/DR. If they had marketed it as a spiritual successor to Ghost Recon it would have been a good game. but OP/F to me means complete tactical freedom, controlling a large squad, lots of vehicles and an epic campaign that you play lots of infantry, armoured and air missions.

Unfortunately OP/F/DR has none of that.

You only get to see a tiny fraction of the map, the campaign was short, the AI was not very good, there were hardly any vehicles, the weapon classes were very restricted, the engine could not handle bushes/cover if you were more than 50 metres away.

The reason we were told that we would have AI in MP was because it would be so good, the most advanced AI EVAR !! CM said, but I don't think it's very good. This led to them not allowing standard PvP DM and so game died online really fast.

I picked this up hoping it would be like the original but it's really nothing like it, as I said if this were a Ghost Recon game I would recommend it, but as a OP/F game I can't.

I lost count of the features they said would be in the game that were not. They said the first DLC would be free for consoles to make up for the lack of a mission editor, it wasn't. They said the campaign would be epic and cover this huge island, it didn't. They said there were loads of vehicles to use, there isn't. They said the AI was super-duper, it wasn't.

This game must have sold well because my friends list was full of people playing it the week it shipped. Now there is only one person left in my friends list playing it.

I knew this game had turkey written all over it when the announced the demo would not be available before the game shipped, yet journo's were given a 2 mission demo build, so it did exist. That was because we would have realised all CM's talk about this game was just inflated marketing BS, the game they described was not what they shipped.

I'm not sure how this DLC will sell, over on the official forums there only seems to be a handful of die-hard fanboys left. I traded the game in the day I finished the campaign on hardcore. After seeing how CM basically lied about their game and the way their community liaison guy Helios labelled anyone that was not a raving fan-boy a 'troll' I'm pretty certain I will not be buying any CM games again and I certainly will not be buying a sequel to this turkey. Once bitten twice shy as they say.

Good thing XBL can push out paid DLC for Operation Flashpoint before they can push out vital glitch fixes for MW2 while the other consoles have it the other way around.

This game is the poster child for failure. We found a glitch to unlock vehicles (that were promised on the box), and they just released a patch so you cannot use those vehicles in the campaign anymore. If you want to use them, you have to buy dlc and play them in a 10 mission called FTE.

The lamest offering of the year, easily the biggest dissappointment in half a decade...

With the tactical shooter genre as dry as it is, this game had a chance to make a killing to the non-run & gun community..but they never listened to their forums, they went in a direction none of the customers agreed...and period point blank..the customers buy your product which keeps you working.

Had they released the custom mission editor, we may have been able to overlook the flaws in this game...face it, what game out there lets you make your own missions, and play them on co op online?
BUT they opted not to put that in so they could give us the 10 minute missions for $4.99..greedy
