Looks good.
I'm probably going to end up with 5,000 game saves to try everything and for ME3 continuation. Oh gosh.

Gameplay has never been Bioware's strong suit. All their games always have a B grade feel to it when it comes to that. I'm sure I will love ME2 regardless though.

I'm sure the in-game codex will explain every little item in the Mass Effect universe (like the first game).

It looks like my second play-through will be an Infiltrator.

The Infiltrator really sucked in the first game (as did most of the hybrid classes) so it is nice to see that they are doing stuff to make the hybrid classes stand out a little more this time. In the first game the hybrid classes were flexible but they didn't really shine at anything.

Vanguard was the best class in the game. You suck.

You obviously didn't know to abuse the sniper rifle as much as possible. I've played both Vanguard and Infiltrator, and I have to say that the latter class is much better. Though the sniper rifle is pretty much useless in the first half of the game, once you get it leveled, you could use it to take shots at armatures/primes/colussi/anything from afar. Really it meant that you either got a huge exp boost (from killing the bigger enemies without the Mako, or were able to take shots at the enemies without taking any damage yourself.
Also, with the changes in the Vanguard for ME2, I don't see myself using the class a lot, if at all. I just don't see the sensibility of a power that basically charges you into a group of enemies.

I'm usually not a big fan of stealth stuff but this class looks awesome.
Seriously though. So each of the 6 classes can be played 3 completely different ways. You can play your character as a good guy with imported good guy stuff from ME1, good guy with imported bad guy stuff from ME1, bad guy with imported good guy stuff from ME1, and bad guy with imported bad guy stuff from ME1.
It sounds like you could play through this thing like 10 times and still find new content on the 11th playthrough.
This game is going to be epic. I can't even imagine the number of possible combinations in ME3.

so apparently no one else noticed that cryo bullets now can freeze the targets in place....which can then be shattered.
wait, that sounds vaguely familiar of another game i recently played....but i just cant place it....
not to say im not going to buy and love this game for around 100 or so hours, im just pointing out that cryos freeze now, and they steal (albeit awesome ideas) from their own games

"That's my problem with me going into ME2. I did so many things I cant remember which of my characters did what. It's going to get confusing...."
This isn't a problem in Mass Effect 2. Here is a quote from IGN.
"Each save will be labeled so that you know which class and level character you're importing. Hudson outlined what happens from there, "You pick one of those saves, and then from there you go back into Mass Effect 2. Once that starts you go to a review screen where you can look at all of the things you did in that first game and then proceed from there knowing that you have the save you want."

I'm hoping they do a Mac or PS3 version because I really don't want to use my work laptop to play this. Assuming it's good (it'll be good) its release will certainly leave it overlooked for goty next year.

This has been bothering me since the last ME2 class video:
Is the narrator a guy or girl?
Their voice seems neutral.
