You are joking right? Please tell me there was supposed to be a /s tag at the end of your post.

When maps start to cost just as much as an older game, there is something wrong there. I've never bought any of these mappacks or will I ever. I think this whole pack shouldn't have been more then 5 bucks at most, only because the Zombie maps are a bit more substantial than your average map.

Maybe I'm just spoiled and used to play Jedi Knight II for instance, where you had a mod community supported by the developers AND the developers themselves would even release map packs for free. Cloud City anyone?

thing is, on consoles you don't have mods. i'm just happy that the game got support unlike a certain other COD...

No, on most consoles you don't have mods. I had comunity created mods for Unreal Tournament on my PS3.

The ability is out there, it's up to Microsoft, Nintendo to allow it and the developers to make it accessable.

I'm shocked there are people that still play this, since MW2 I have yet to see any of the people on my PSN of XBL friends list play this....they all transitioned over to MW2 as soon as it came out and never went back

I couldn't believe it either but on the MW2 forum, I read many posts from people who think W@W has better online...I even have friends who talk about going back to the first MW...i think they are crazy

Kind of like how we got more into GTA 3 than GTA 4. Sure GTA 4 and MW2 are great in their own right, but more of the same never matches the hype!

There is one thing that WAW has over MW2 by a long shot. Body dismemberment! Why the hell would they take that out?

It's already a killing game... i'm pretty sure everyone loves shotguns blowing off arms and claymores taking off legs. Predator missiles just leaving a torso, it should of been in the game.

Five dollars doesn't seem like quite the drop needed to push the sale of this bundled pack, especially since the game is now competing with MW2 in online multiplayer. Personally I really wanted to see a bundled pack of the Nazi Zombie maps. Those interest me over the other mp maps, and I would more gladly pay a regular price for a bundle of those maps today if that were the case, but as such it isn't. I think $15-18 would have been a more appropriate price to push this dlc set.

Are people still playing those (DLC) Killzone maps online? I was thinking of buying them now that they're cheap.

Don't bother buying the maps. Yesterday i got my KZ2 back and nobody was playing the map packs. I made a room and nobody joined. I hate poor people.

I thought the game was great, but the way they implemented the map packs to the online play where I would get kicked out of 90% of the matches (on XBLA) because of a missing map... well that encouraged me to return the game, which I did, and instilled on me a sense to NEVER EVER buy a game that does that.

@SnatchTease: That happened to me the other day playing online. I tried to get into about four matches and kept getting kicked out. I got very annoyed and its stupid that they can't filter out who has map packs and who doesn't.

More exciting than the lame bundle is there's apparently double XP right now, not sure if it was announced or anything. Yes, I still play WaW - it's a good game and I don't have the money for MW2. The amount of players has dropped (obviously) but there's still around 30k-40k at peak times so there's no trouble finding matches.

Wow, Activision sure knows how to grab you by the balls! And gamers don't care. How nice. I'm glad I don't give them money.
