As a fan of Uno, but also as somebody who does not have access to a 360 to play the demo...can somebody sum up the differences between this and "regular" Uno?

You can't misplace the cards.

I just played the demo briefly and it wasn't fun at all for me. You have a hand full of mostly standard UNO cards and each person gets a few seconds to arrange their hand each turn. The idea is to arrange your cards in a way so that you create a chain of playable cards that all get played in a row on your turn. It is a quick paced card juggling game basically.

Ludwig, we know you have a penchant for perfect puns (a pun-chant?). You don't need to go all "SEE WHAT I DID THAR?"

I just tried to buy it for 5 bucks, but when I go to checkout it's trying to charge me 10. Anyone know if MS has said anything about it yet?

from Major Nelson's Twitter:

If you are having problems w/ Uno Rush or the Disney Avatar stuff, fear not....the Operations team is investigating.

D'oh! I just bought it about two weeks ago at full price!

Unfortunately, I don't actually find this game that entertaining. Definitely try the demo first.

If you've only played the demo, you're going to think this game sucks. And I had my friends do just that. And yes, they thought it sucked. I bought the game and mae them play it. Their reaction was "This is stupid, you don't have enough time to make your move!" They didn't get it.

I kid you not, within 3 games, all three of them changed their mind about the game and did not want to stop. They admitted it was addicting and they wanted more. We played for almost 2 hours.

@T: One of the greatest differences is that you can play four players on one console. The object is still to get rid of your cards, but you must place your cards in an order so that they may be all discarded in one go, or to discard as many as you can in one go. Being able to see the other players' cards just makes you have to be quicker. You must plan your moves according to the cards that other players are playing.

You see the opposite player laying down green cards. Their last card they can discard is a Green-5. Well, before their hand is even discarded, you see the next player has a Red-5 lined up and will ultimately be throwing down a Yellow-6 (for example). Therefore you would line up your cards based on that Yellow-6. Now if the previous player accidentally sticks a non-playable card in there before the Yellow-6 comes up, then of course that's like sticking a stick in the spokes of a bicycle and you must quickly come up with a new plan. But you are constantly resorting your cards according to what you see in the other players' hands. Very addicting.

You can also throw down shuffle cards which will shuffle players' cards and skip their turn, making them have to resort their deck. Sure enough to piss off anyone who has 13 cards all organized to discard in one go.

It's just fun.... Yes.

The above link show it for 400 MS points but when I go to check out it says 800 points. Straight from Major Nelson: "If you are having problems w/ Uno Rush or the Disney Avatar stuff, fear not....the Operations team is investigating."

Im one of the guys who bought it when it came out and let me tell me.. theres some people there that I get to play with many many times as opposed to the matchmaking in halo 3 which matches you with players youll probably never play with again...

UNO Rush has "habitués" like some obscure coffee shop. I never thought this could be possible in an online game which is sold all over the world but.. thats how it is.

Theres two users i play with which are husband & wife and i find it cute they're playing it together so many times lol, thats how well you get to know people there.

I like the game actually and i love headbanging with my fancy avatar and its clothes on the lobby :D I probably wouldnt buy it tho if i knew there wouldnt be much players online even tho the game itself is good and more fun than original uno which gets boring fast, lets hope this promo brings more people.

I want to like this game... But the controls are a beast. They should have 'macros' or something that let you sort and rearrange faster. Nothing ruins a game like awkward controls.
