Nope I'm with you too, there's nothing to the game at all so I can't play it for longer than 5 minutes without getting bored. I need games of substance to keep me focused, not casual games.

the iphone version isn't that addicting. at least, the draw of texting is greater than the the draw of peggle.

I just played peggle for the first time after looking at the image and not understanding whats going on as well as your comment and it's pretty fun but I can't play it. It gets me too antsy and becomes too stressful to play. It gets frustrating when the balls dont bounces exactly where you want them to go because you were off by 1 click.

I don't think it's addictive, however I think it has high replay value. It's cheap & quick fun, and I find that I go back to play more often than I do a number of other games. Perhaps because it's easy to load up on my 360 for a quick play :P

Of course you can get it for even cheaper on Steam. I never understood why Popcap regularly charges twice as much on their website as they charge on Steam.

Because not everyone knows of steam, so why should they get less money on their own sales just because some other distributor chooses to lowball the price?

PopCap jacks the price up on games on their site. Their "deal" for Plants Vs Zombies is $10 when the normal price on Steam is $10. Right now on Steam you can get it for $5, AND the complete PopCap collection on Steam is $50.

That's the equivalent of murdering your drug dealer and stealing his coke. You need the high that is Peggle but you can't afford it. Only bad things will come.

Popcap is going to murder my family and torture me for downloading their games illegally?

One way to end piracy.

Gamasutra had an interesting article about the 'devaluing' of games, basically with 99 cent games from iPhone, and the fact that all games get slash in half or more so quickly these days (sometime in a matter of months) its not worth buying any game at full price.

Begining to feel that way too. Unless its massively discounted I'm not buying anything.

Peggle for my phone is the most dangerous thing I could have ever added to my phone. On the PC there are better things but Peggle is always worth coming back to every now and then.

Steam has a better deal today - and everyday then that particular one. Though, I don't want every popcap game there is for 50 dollars, I just want to spend 10 dollars on the three games I might actually want to play - yet the most the individuals have gone down so far is 25 percent - not enough for me!

3 dollars is the max I'm willing to pay for a casual game! Least - for Peggle, or Bejeweled and the like,

And no - I didn't like plants versus zombies very much after playing the demo, it is cute and has character but - not my thing.

Two days ago, I ordered the Bookworm game from Pop Cap Games. They took my $20.00 (Yes, I said $20.00) without a moment's hesitation. However, I have NO game. I am simply out $20.00, plus tax!!

Wish I could do business like this!!!
