A whole bunch of PopCap games offered at half-price
31
You've probably got plenty of games from the present-receiving ceremony of your holiday of choice -- unfortunately, they're all about to get brutally neglected. Casual gaming juggernaut PopCap is offering 15 of its games for half-price; for most of these titles, that knocks the cost down to $9.95. Sadly, there won't be any opportunities to sink time into that still-fresh copy of Dragon Age: Origins once Peggle Nights snaps its colorful, unrelenting jaws down onto you.

Nope I'm with you too, there's nothing to the game at all so I can't play it for longer than 5 minutes without getting bored. I need games of substance to keep me focused, not casual games.

I just played peggle for the first time after looking at the image and not understanding whats going on as well as your comment and it's pretty fun but I can't play it. It gets me too antsy and becomes too stressful to play. It gets frustrating when the balls dont bounces exactly where you want them to go because you were off by 1 click.

I would go buy some, but I'm way too busy playing my brand new PS3.

That's the equivalent of murdering your drug dealer and stealing his coke. You need the high that is Peggle but you can't afford it. Only bad things will come.

Gamasutra had an interesting article about the 'devaluing' of games, basically with 99 cent games from iPhone, and the fact that all games get slash in half or more so quickly these days (sometime in a matter of months) its not worth buying any game at full price.
Begining to feel that way too. Unless its massively discounted I'm not buying anything.

Steam has a better deal today - and everyday then that particular one. Though, I don't want every popcap game there is for 50 dollars, I just want to spend 10 dollars on the three games I might actually want to play - yet the most the individuals have gone down so far is 25 percent - not enough for me!
3 dollars is the max I'm willing to pay for a casual game! Least - for Peggle, or Bejeweled and the like,
And no - I didn't like plants versus zombies very much after playing the demo, it is cute and has character but - not my thing.

Two days ago, I ordered the Bookworm game from Pop Cap Games. They took my $20.00 (Yes, I said $20.00) without a moment's hesitation. However, I have NO game. I am simply out $20.00, plus tax!!
Wish I could do business like this!!!
