Zelda Reorchestrated project completes Ocarina of Time score remake

Ummm.. I don't know about you, but I seem to recall owning a CD with all of OOT's music done by a real orchestra. Seven years ago. In fact, I still have it.

Yeah. I think I'll stick with that.

I'm not on that list, so FUCK OFF.

I've been following this one for a while now. The turnout is decent. Some really fantastic, like the Deku Tree's theme and some honestly terrible, like the Inside of the Deku Tree. There were two new original compositions I believe, one for Zelda's Lullaby and the other for Adult Kakariko which were awesome. Some of the awesome older remakes, like the older one for the Fire temple, older one for the potion shop, and older one for Ganondorf's Battle, have been omitted with far worse versions for the final! They also ruined the two deepest songs in the game, Sheik's Theme and the Forest Temple. It's quite an undertaking, and the ost came out well, but no where near perfect. This is by no means the definite remake, and I expect to see some much better compositions down the road. However, for now, this one sets the bar high for the future. So yeah my two cents. I have very high standards about music and most forms of art in general so sorry if it sounded too harsh.

I've got a soft spot for Gerudo's theme, so I was a little disappointed to hear how they changed it.

Idk, i dont think i like the music too much. Its done quite well, but some of it is too busy for the environment it is played in. 7/10

Wow joystiq. You'll post THIS mediocre midi remix of a tired old soundtrack but you won't post my friends CD? A remix of over 80 NES games mixed into hip-hop beats? Something that took almost as long to create but with far more production value and originality. I don't get you sometimes.

Did they make the damn Ocarina of Time music good this time since it sucked almost as much balls as the horrible n64 zelda games them selfs.

And the funny part the SNES DSP sound chip pwned the n64...Oh wait the n64 had no dedicated sound chip never mind false alarm, no wonder "Ocarina of Time" sounded like ass and a "link to the past" did not.

Or maybe it just was the fact that the music was horribly written....Ya that sounds about right.

And all the trolls laugh all hysterical from the massive amounts of lulz they get from Elranzer's poor attempt to insult, them.
