Speaking of iPhone apps, has anyone tried Gameloft's N.O.V.A. yet? Any good, and how well will it run on a first-gen Touch?

I have a 1st gen touch, and it runs fairly well, especially for having 4 player multiplayer. However, it looks and runs better on my brother's 2nd gen touch. The experience on the 1st gen is inferior, but not enough for me to tell you not to get it. It's definitely the best FPS the iPod/iPhone has ever seen, apart from the extremely cliche story and environment. I mean space marines? Seriously?

I got it on PC a while ago for nostalgic reasons and am tempted to buy it again for iphone. IMO this is the second best point and click ever, a close second to Monkey Island 2.

I was playing it, almost finished the first part, until the game freezed when I was trying to get some grog from a barrel in the tavern. Restarting the game didn't help. A while later a patch was released and my save data (several hours of play time) was lost. Haven't tried to play it again... in months.
