MGS: Peace Walker site says 'Piece Walker' is coming soon

Kojima's at it again, teasing something very odd: Piece Walker. The teaser image above comes from a page linked on the Japanese Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker site, which either confirms something entirely new is "coming soon" or one of Kojima's web people is in desperate need of a Webster's. We're leaning towards the former.

And that's pretty much it. There's really only an image to go on right now, but, personally, we're crossing our fingers for some kind of KFC tie-in. Can you imagine every 10 piece meal coming with a neat little cardboard box with a Snake action figurine hiding inside it? Sure, it could be another iPhone game or something, but we think our idea is way better.

It should release on more than just the PSP. PSN at least.

I actually agree with CJ. I'd much prefer a PSN release of Peace Walker. I like to sit in the comfort of my couch during 4 hour cutscenes :-P

Technically, it will be released on PSN, so that PSPgo users can play it.
But I know what you mean. Sony should develop some way for us to play PSP games on the home television with the PS3 controller. Maybe bind a PSP to a PS3 as proof that you own both, and emulate the PSP game?

@Naeem: You can still sit on a couch and play a PSP... Hell you can even hook it up to your TV.

Guys, I just got a PSP. Can anyone recommend me any good games then? I already beta GoW CoO a long time ago on my friend's PSP.

Not many interesting games for it so I haven't played it in over a year. I don't sleep with it like you Sony fanboys.

In my case, it's the DS that hasn't been touched an ages. I've had tons to do with my PSP, including a lot of very good original PSone releases.

I haven't played my DS either, but this post is about a PSP game.

Probably a stupid flash game to promote Peace Walker.

Colonel, I've always wanted to ask you this:

If you were to do the Tanker mission with Snake, and you were to distract the guards, how would you do it?

My delicious finger lickin' good Kentucky Fried Chicken is always a good distraction.

2nd question: If snake were held captive, and you were in a fist fight with Liquid atop MGREX, what would be your strategy?

Liquid? Really? I would beat the living shit of him, no strategy required.

3rd question: How would you disable Metal Gear REX?

I would do what Snake did, destroy it with the Stinger.

Final Question: If you were to kill snake, what would A) your weapon of choice be B) your strategy to defeating him.

A more personal question for you, Colonel: Whose idea was it to use caulking guns to dispense the mayo on the chicken sandwiches?

The word "piece" might be a downloadable add-on content or another demo.

the pixelated snake looks like a 2d model from an isometric style game. Like a 2d fallout type deal. Maybe it's that for the iPhone or DS or something.

I think they're going to do what Fable II did on XBL and allow you to DL Peace Walker in pieces.

Of course it's not an action figure included with the meal, that'd be stupid. The meal comes inside the box, and the fatigues-clad drumsticks poke out the bottom. Duh.
