North Star Musou videos punch a hole in our heart

If you're not excited by Fist of the North Star Musou, then maybe you should go watch that Gandhi movie or something. However, if the thought of punching stuff makes you want to punch stuff, then check out Musou's new internet digs.

The official site for the game has received quite the substantial update, assaulting our eyeballs with a variety of new screenshots, gameplay videos (past the break) and bios for characters and stages. There's even a flexing shirt rip that would make Balrog pee his boxing shorts!

His attacks and overall movements seem to be rather slow. I would've expected the game to be a bit more faster paced and more vicious. I'm really torn on these gameplay videos, i love the idea of this game and how it looks but the gameplay is lacking from what i can see.

I hope the final version of the game will be fun, so i'll reserve judgment until then.

The ending reminded me of Tekken.

Im pretty sure I watched a live action version of this, only it was called riki oh. It is one of the worst movies I have ever seen and yet... It Was Fantastic. It's a japanese/chinese movie, but the dvd has the option for english subtitles or even better engrish audio. I highly recommend importing this movie and watching it with the your friends.

Riki-Oh (The Story of Riki) is different. It, too, however, is based on a Manga. Fist of the North Star does have a live action film, too, however. It was made over a decade ago in Canada. You can find it on DVD around the net (I have it :D).

When I play this. I won't need help returning to the Heavens.

The real question is why does that guy hit the water tower and it explodes when he gets whipped?

If this doesn't have the Souther battle on the pyramid I will be very sad. Even if its a CGI cutscene it still need to be in it.

Agreed. I also want Rei vs Raoh, as well as Toki vs Raoh. In fact, everyone vs. Raoh. Yeah, that'll work. If they get into any of the characters from Hokuto no Ken 2, I'd be happy, as well. Especially Kaioh. :D
