This game is available on Steam right now.
I've been thinking about picking it up for a while now, but the inclusion of Securom on Steam seems ridiculous and unnecessary.

Shitty and buggy?
It runs perfectly on my machine, and the game itself is definitely not shitty, so I don't know what you are doing wrong - anyway, I just wanted to recommend this game to fans of the original tabletop Blood Bowl, as well as players who simply appreciate a different type of strategy game.
It's really addictive, captures the mood and humour quite well, and has several game modes and RPG-like leveling of your team.

...that configuration is odd as hell. Why make it 360/PSP?

I have no respect for these guys after the SP vs. GC incident.

They published Two Worlds. That kills any credibility they may have had.

Except that Blood Bowl has been around since 1987.

Oh dear -- my bad. I got all mixed up and thought you meant those horrible Blitz games. Still, Blood Bowl is older than Mutant League. Just. ;)

Most people will not enjoy this game. I played the table top game as a kid and this is a totally true to the source 1:1 recreation of it (save for team customization, which blows). It's a great game for Blood Bowl fans but I can't see it having much legs beyond that.

This is already out on xbox here in the UK.
Apparently a bit poor, may pick it up when it's £10 but not convinced I'll enjoy it.

Ok wait, I thought this was ALREADY released on PSP? Hell, I saw a bootleg version floating around for PSP which I know was a working version. I tried everything to buy a copy on PSP and no shops seemed able to get it in anywhere.
Now I hear they're releasing it on PSP... uh.. totally confused here. So will we actually be able to buy it or not?

This game has already been released on the PC for a year now, and it's absolute rubbish. It looks incredible and everything is great except how massively buggy the game is and how most of the game doesn't even follow the Living Rule Book version 5 set of rules that it's suppose to. The game was so buggy in fact that they had to recall the PSP versions people bought because the game didn't work for them or didn't work right. Talk about a PR nightmare for this company.
This game was plagued by delays, was suppose to be released like 2-3 years ago but they kept pushing it off due to "quality issues", and then when they do release it it's still buggy as hell. Go on their forums and you'll see a lot of angry people who bought this. I bought the downloadable version the second it came out and after about 5 games already figured out how to beat the VERY limited AI in the game on single player.
I would not recommend this game if you are a Blood Bowl fan, stick with playing on Fumbbl online (even though that's LRB4 and not 5) If you've never played the game before, then you'll probably enjoy it.

I've been waiting for the PSP or DS version to come out for awhile. I agree that it was really frustrating to figure out when any of the games were going to be released or when they were released. I think it's kinda stupid that they released it on the 360 and the PSP, because I have a PS3, stuff happens.
Basically they released the PC version online, and they even released a free update that added the Dark Elves (which should have been there in the first place, along with the Undead...).
Then they released the PSP and DS versions in Europe, which was a train wreck, because the DS version was a buggy piece of crap, and the PSP version, although much better than the DS, had an issue with the game saving part. The company fixed the game-saving bug for the PSP one, and offered those who owned the crappy version the ability to exchange it for the better copy. Hopefully the American version is worth the wait...
