Rock Band Weekly: Paul McCartney, Blink-182, Psychedelic Furs, Ramones

Paul McCartney, in a non-Beatles outing, rings in the new year for next week's Rock Band Weekly update. The 67-year-old rocker (good on him!) will have the company of a Blink-182 pack, along with individual tracks from The Psychedelic Furs and The Ramones. Ringo might be in there too, but nobody would notice either way -- poor Ringo.

And I'm surprised someone likes something else than the usual Green Day, Blink 182 on here. Darth and Awetobawt are beacons of light in the darkness, shine on you crazy diamonds!

Goddamn Live tracks. Might pick up the Blink tracks, they're always good on drums.

Travis Barker is an alright drummer, but even Travis can agree with me that Zeppelin and Who tracks are better on drums for RB.

say what you will, but i think Green Day Rock Band will offer some damn good fun for RB Drummers.
Tré Cool is ferocious on the skins.

Ringo Starr was such a better drummer than Tre Cool.

wow, assholes much? i own the AC/DC pack, bought all the queen, kiss, the who, boston, and about 40 other rock songs.

And i will most likely be buying the other stuff as well, but blink-182 is a personal favorite of mine as i went through middle/high school with enema of the state and take off your pants and jacket. Though i liked other music, those particular albums were my soundtrack so-to-say to my last 5 years of school.

Man, you know, most Ramones songs are catchy, but they are not great songs to put in Rock Band. Every song of theirs in Rock Band is super boring on every instrument.

I adore the Ramones but I actually agree. I'd rather see Zeppelin or Genesis debut or some more Stones/Who tracks.

I guess that's why it's fun to have friends who will drink beers and act stupid with you while you sing those boring old Ramones songs....

Dear Rock Band,

Can we please have some more Avenged Sevenfold songs for download please, or more so a song pack if you have one in dedication to the late "The Rev." R.I.P. Rev, you will be missed! I hope Avenged bounces back from this, no one can replace him but my whole family (Wife, kids, myself) mourn for this lost.

The sad thing is most of the kids are gonna buy the Blink pack and not the McCartney pack.

@ bongoes - OMG- Sister Europe & Love My Way!... it's just too awesome to see them not go just for the obvious tracks, too. I am a huge Furs fan and glad to see I'm not alone.
