it's strung as if it were right-handed, but appears to be played so that the Troopa is only right-side up left-handed. This was either strung for Jimi Hendrix or someone did something totally wrong here...

Hendrix played a right handed guitar but stringed it as left handed. He didnt do anything weird with the strings, the thicker strings were at the top like theyre supposed to be. This guitar has strings and knobs for right hand playing but the body is upside down, I think he just screwed up with the wood flipped over or didnt know how guitars worked.

Ah but look at the volume and tone knobs, I think it's supposed to be played with him upside down. Or it might not even be made to be played at all.

Its right handed, I play it so the Koopa is on its back (its been stomped). When it is on a guitar stand its walking about.

I would easily spend the money for a custom guitar like this. Depending on how into it you are, and how much time it takes, I think that repeating this design and other old school game tributes would be a gold mine.
btw, the guitar is the single most epic guitar ive ever seen. congratulations, you've won the game.
