The internet seems to find all final bosses disappointing. I don't get it.

I didn't find the final bosses in the KotOR games disappointing. And Radec in Killzone 2 certaintly wasn't disappointing...

"It was easy" isn't contrary to "tedious struggle," so I guess we're not really disagreeing here?

Well I'm just saying I don't see how it's tedious, as it only takes a few minutes, or how it's a struggle, as there's hardly any difficulty.

@Durden

There are still games with good final Bosses. Shatter is a perfect example. Every boss in that game is really damn fun to beat. HL2:E2 also had a great finale even if it's not technically a "boss". And taking down Glados for the first time was a rush. Oh, and No More Heroes had a great final boss as well. I could list more but you get the idea.

It's struggle because it's a fight against an adversary, and it's tedious because it grows almost immediately tiresome. The final bosses in AC2, UC2 and B:AA weren't outright horrible or anything, but they were by far the least interesting parts of the game. In Batman's case, it felt completely unnecessary.

Alright, I can see that. The only part in batman I thought was more annoying was the killer croc fight. What a letdown.

I would've thought Shatter was a good game, if it wasn't for the god damned "The Boss" trophy. I nearly threw my controller threw my TV when I missed the trophy by 3 seconds.

So your opinion of the entire game was swayed to "bad" because of a stupid Trophy?

Nah I just needed to vent my anger at that trophy a little, although when I think back to this game I'll probably remember the frustration over the fun (yeah I know I'm a trophy whore)

I liked RE5. RE4 it was not, but the bar was set pretty high with 4. I wasn't surprised that it didn't meet the bar.

I know i dont comment on here much but my top 5:
1. Borderlands(xbox)- this game has been enjoyably so far the bosses are challenging but not to hard. This game is almost my top of all time.
2. Resident Evil 5(xbox)- This isn't just the same as the other resident evils and i like it for that would maybe be my number one if sheva wasnt just a dumbass.
3 assassians creed 2(xbox)- Haven't had much gameplay time with this yet but from what I can tell this is going to be a pretty good game. It starts out slow like many have said but it has started to speed up.
4. Nazi Zombies Dlc(xbox)- I spent countless hours this year drinking my speed cola and gambling for a ray gun this had to make the list.
5.The Hellicopter Game(internet)- The Helicopter game is one of the few games my school hasn't blocked on the computer, and it can be quite addicting at times its just a simple flash game.

"Codemasters can still strike a perfect balance between gorgeous visuals, responsive controls and the sensation of just barely being in control of your vehicle."

Yes, my thoughts exactly, I love the game and beat it soo fast, (leveing up is addicting/one more race). I don't mind the chatter of being overtaken as it was less annoying than a pit crew manager telling you that there is a crash or someone spun out 5 seconds after I hit that said person in GRID. grrrr

*leveling, not leveing

Also now that I think about it I actually didn't mind the chatter at all, it gave life to the simulated AI drivers you faced off with.
