....why in the world would you ever watch an entire video game streaming? the entire point of a video game is to play it (aka interact with it). watching it seems like the exact opposite of what anyone would want to do with a game.

I havent gotten my copy yet either because they have yet to release it here in the states. That's a guaranteed sale from me... so they only need to worry about hitting 5,999,999 other people for cash.

Spyder, ATB's been around long enough that most people know how it works. Pretty easy to see how the changes would be.

The pictures are spoiler-ish. But the text (except when it talks about the protagonist) seems to be pretty fine.

And I can attest that these are all true. Well, except the Eidolons. I've used the same technique on all of them so far. lol That last one probably would have gone a lot easier if I'd figured out how to kill it, instead of grinding for a few hours and then just beating it down the hard way.

The game is a LOT of fun, too... It's easily the best combat system so far. All the ones in the past bored me and left me wishing I had more control. I don't feel that way here.

Good to know. I'm a little leery of it, but I'll give it a try.

Japanese tend to buy 6 Nintendo DS's for themselves though...

It will do fine. It is dealing with a depressed economy in Japan, and Dragon Quest was cheaper than FFXIII.

final fantasy has had its chance (albeit somewhat half-assed) on the wii, and nothing there provided any kind of major impetus for squeenix to retool the entire game.

plus the FF series is anything but a casual gamer's game, so in effect you'd be selling the game on the wii to people who probably own a 360 or PS3 as well and would probably just get it on that (for obvious reasons).

mmmm, i dont think the majority of the Wii Audience is fond of RPGs, I mean, the only 3 Final Fantasy's i can think of for the console -I know, ther are not in the main saga-, did not bring Squeenix good results. Plus, Final Fantasy is meant to be an astonishing visual experience.

But, believe me, i would buy a Wii if FFXIII releases there with Nes Graphics :P

I don't really see how selling around one million copies in one week, with just the japanese edition which is released only in Japan and only on PS3 is a flop...

I don't know if any has been announced, I'm just speculating. Say, Microsoft wrote a huge check to get DLC as a 360-exclusive (or vice-versa).

That's been rumored for a while, and it would make sense.

Shadow, sry to be an ass, but, if u expect FFXIII to sell 2M in America, and 1M in europe... The game will be over 4.5M+ since it sold 1,5 M in Jap.

Plus, u are forgetting the rest of the world.

I'll go for 5.5 to 6 M
